Lenovo Yoga C740 unboxing and first impressions

Lenovo's Yoga C740 was first announced at IFA last year, alongside with some other entries to the Yoga lineup. Meant to be the more mainstream sibling to the Yoga C940, this convertible PC starts at $699.

And that price gets you quite a bit. With a convertible form factor, it comes with a Core i5-10210U processor, 8GB RAM, and a 512GB SSD. Even completely specced out with a Core i7-10510U, 16GB RAM, and a 1TB SSD, it's still only going to run you just over $1,200.

It ditches a few premium features found on the C940 though. There's no rotating soundbar in the hinge, although there are Dolby Atmos speakers next to the keyboard. It doesn't have a built-in pen; however, there is pen support and the pen is sold separately. Also, the 14-inch screen is Full HD, as there are no 4K options.

All of this comes in an aluminum package that weighs in at just over three pounds. Check out the unboxing video below:
