win10 Problem opening certain apps

When I attempt to open apps such as calculator, I get this message:

I have run SFC and DISM multiple times and nothing is found to be wrong, but as clearly seen in the screen shot, there is a problem. I have not disabled or uninstalled any of pre-installed application, and this issue is getting rather annoying. Anybody have any idea what I can try to fix this?

If not here is another possibility. I just did this. You will have to update all of your apps afterwords.

Have you tried the Windows app troubleshooter from Microsoft?
