The 9070 XT is faster than the Nvidia RTX 5070 and is a great 1440p gaming option. The Hellhound uses a triple-fan cooling system with a mix of standard and reverse-rotation blades to reduce turbulence. That’s paired with a copper base plate in direct contact with both the GPU and memory, plus multiple heatpipes to spread thermal load more evenly. The fans themselves use dual ball bearings, which should extend their service life compared to sleeve-bearing designs. Intelligent fan control is there, like on most other GPUs now, which means they only spin up once the card reaches a set temperature, so idle noise is kept down.
On the power delivery side, the Hellhound packs a reinforced PCB with a multi-phase (10+1) VRM design and DrMOS modules that include real-time monitoring.
