The speciality of this unit is that it packs a subwoofer in the soundbar's cabinet itself so you do not have to worry about putting a bulky subwoofer box anywhere else.
While there are advantages to having a separate subwoofer box, having one inside the same box has its own benefits too, similar to how bookshelf speakers with their own woofers can sound better than satellite speakers with a separate woofer.
