I heard that the americans did not land on the moon in 1969, and that it was all a hoax, they just took pictures and made it seem like they landed on the moon. They had a special on tv about it, showing the pictures and how you can see people being super imposed(adam sandler goat voice:"whats super imposed"), you can see crossharis under people but on top of other things. also how the flags shadows was way off from where it should have been at that time. I actually beleive we didnt land on the moon. To my knowledge we havent even sent ne one back since then. ohh well i guess i might be easily influenced, but i dont think that we landed on the moon.

Everybody has their own opinion...I for one believe that we did land on the moon. There were several other missions since then.

A point to make is that if we didn't land on the moon then why did the Apollo 13 crisis occur. They were intended for the moon so how could that have happened if it was a hoax.

Yep, I read an article in a magazine a while back, very interesting, it could all be a hoax just to show that the Americans beat the Russians in the space race or there maybe something up there that they want to conceal, who knows? ....

Radish?

yea, I've read a report on this one, and the evidence is pretty convincing that it is a hoax, because of many small mistakes that the americans made while "taking" the picture in a studio. The shadows were facing in different directions, which is only seen when using a small set of lights, as in a studio, the Sun creates shadows that are all almost parallel. There were many other little quirks to their pics but I can't actually remember them right now.

I really don't know what to believe, although being a space fanatic I would like to think that they did reach the moon, but I have been confused ever since about where the space age is taking us, if they have to revert to lieing and hoaxing.

We have definitely landed on the moon. During one of the later moon missions, they placed small mirrors there that would reflect a laser fired from Earth back in order to measure seismic activity. The laser facility (at the McDonald observatory in west Texas) is, to the best of my knowledge, not a government facility. However, the laser tests still worked perfectly. How could we have placed stuff there if nobody ever went there? I suppose you could argue robots, but I doubt that they were sophisticated enough 30 years ago to place them so precisely as to reflect a laser fired from Earth back at it.

There were several other missions since then.

thats doesn't mean that the americans were first to land there, Gagarin and Armstrong - all that means is that people after it have been successful OR they have also hoaxed it, but the point you've made about Apollo 13 is a good one, because that really is proof that there most definitely have been successful trips to the moon.

No doubt about it now anyway, because there are spacecraft, such as Voyager 1, and Voyager 2, that are travelling even further than our solar system, but the point that is being debated is whether Armstrong and Gagarin were the FIRST to reach it.

I was saying that we didnt land on the moon in 1969, and i have not heard of other mon missions since then, but as for the mirros they could have been put up there with a ship, you never know. as for apollo 13, im not saying that they were not intended for the moon, but if they were (i dont like how this sounds but here is goes) god knows they didnt make it(not supposed to be mean).

well, I would think that he was the first to the moon, because the moon would have formed aorund the same time as the Earth was formed, or probably after as a stray asteroid caught in the Earth's gravitational field, but I don't really see what aliens might have seen in the Earth, the main reason why we wanted to reach the moon in the firts place was to have a huge advance in space research and technology, andthen it carried on to search for signs of water, and next life(if we ever get to this stage)
