These huge old things are connected to my on-board sound card and hanged around my neck when I'm gaming, purely for the microphone alone for communication through TS with friends:

For sound, I use my 7.1 speakers system connected to my stand alone pci-e sound card. I'm really anti-headphones, especially the ones that claim to provide true surround sound. Never could find ones to provide me the necessary clarity and "boom" I require.

I hear that.. still searching for a pair myself that packs a punch. The ones I have currently are adequate, nothing to brag about, but I've yet to find a pair that I'm really happy with. When the volume is pretty high I want to have the option of giving myself a self-induced lobotomy or at least a mild nose bleed, not a lot of distortion. (Not that I would.. but the ones I wind up with always sound a bit weak.)

Depending on your budget I highly recommend the DT770s. Even if you don't buy them go to your nearest guitar center and give them a listen just for kicks. Hopefully you have some bass heavy music, since the bass definition is amazing as well. These headphones will only be as good as your output though. Having a USB sound interface or good sound card is a must for these babies. Well, as you can see, I love the sound of these. I'm just saying even if you don't buy them :)

Mm don't think I've tried those yet, I'll check it out, thanks for the tip. And yea not using onboard audio, but a Creative Labs X-Fi Titanium, with the speakers I'm using it makes the windows vibrate nicely.

The Sennheiser PX 100 when I am at home, mostly connected to my iPod Touch.

The Klipsch Image S4i when I am on the go, connected to my iPod Touch.

I've also got the Sennheiser HD 202, MEElectronics M9 and the JVC Marshmallow which are now like backup headphones/earphones.

So long as you were enjoying the interruption ;)

Now if only Seinnheiser would add a Mic to their builds >.<

I feel the exact opposite to some extent. I have the Sennheiser Game 360's, they'd be perfect if the mic was removable. Other than that the sound quality is beautiful and I find them ideal for gaming, music, film... pretty much everything.

I had a pair of Creative HS-1100's before that and they were great. Noise cancellation is unbelievable, a little too good in my opinion. Bass would literally make the headset rattle on the desk, but if you closed the cups... it was pretty much silent.

Playing BC2 with 'War Tapes' audio selected was an experience to say the least.

I am looking into getting a pair of these Sennheiser OMX 90-VC for iPod use, I'm currently using some terrible Blackberry ones as a makeshift.

    • 2TB WD_Black SN7100 PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD drops to its lowest price in over three months by Fiza Ali Amazon is currently offering the 2TB WD_Black SN7100 internal solid-state drive at its lowest price in over three months, so you may want to check it out, if you have been considering a storage upgrade, before the deal dries up (purchase link is toward the end of the article). Featuring a PCIe Gen 4.0 interface and M.2 2280 form factor, the SN7100 promises to deliver sequential read speeds of up to 7,250MB/s and sequential write speeds reaching 6,900MB/s, offering as much as a 35% improvement in performance compared with the previous generation. It also achieves random read speeds of 1,000,000 IOPS and random write speeds of 1,400,000 IOPS. The drive uses Western Digital’s TLC 3D NAND technology for reliable performance and is further supported by a five-year limited warranty. It also offers strong endurance, rated at up to 1,200TBW, making it suitable for demanding workloads such as gaming, content creation, and high-speed recording. Moreover, its DRAM-less architecture claims to improve power efficiency (the SSD relies on system memory for caching via HMB), while the WD_Black Dashboard software enables users to monitor drive health, install firmware updates, and activate Game Mode for potentially better performance. Finally, it operates within an operating temperature range of 0°C to 85°C, and can withstand storage temperatures from -40°C to 85°C. 2TB WD_Black SN7100 PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD: $242.96 (Amazon US) Check this deal out if you want a 4TB option. • Hopefully this will fix the issue of no sound I have since last months stupid, and non-removable, Microsoft Corporation AudioProcessingObject Driver Update (1.0.3.56670)
    • It IS confusing! What channel are you in on each device? I'm guessing your 16GB device is on Experimental (formerly known as Dev) and your 128GB is on Beta.
    • 100 for the base game , 120 for pre release with bonus unlocked content (a pair of boil washed underpants for Trevor)
