Weapons? What do you own?

Recommended Posts

I'll be hitting a range at least weekly once I purchase my handgun so that shouldn't be an issue, might step down to a 9 because I have to dress Business Casual at work and don't want anything too obvious, I haven't been told it's a "gun free" environment, but also don't want to alarm anyone, all depends on what's available around here in a month or so

A .40 can be just as concealable as a 9. You could purchase a glock 23, its the same size as a glock 19, alot of people carry the 19.

Good to know, been more focused on the permit than the actual handgun lately

I pee'd a lil.... :3 I want it...what is that? the stock looks like an M4A1...but the barrel is like an M16 or is that a flush muzzler on the end?

Its an AR-15 16" barrel more or less a civilian version of an M-4 the muzzle device is a Griffin Armament Compensator.

Yeah, a sensible defense weapon is an AK-47. Those AR15's jam unless they are all chromed out.

AR-15's don't jam often. I have fired over 3000 rounds with my AR and it hasn't jammed once. The secret to having an AR run flawlessly is keeping it lubed. It can be dirty as hell and still run but once it starts to run dry then you have problems.

A 9mm, a Caliber 38 Special, a Dragunov sniper rifle, 2 AK-47s, a Beretta 25 ankle gun, 1 tear gas canister gun, brass knuckles, 1 BlackHawk Submachine gun, about a dozen throwing stars, axe, machete, a few chains, and 6 throwing knives.

Lol a few chains I like that.

And now like this.

Bought it for 997 and put an additional 776 dollars into it.Not including all the mags I bought for it.  BTW that bag in the back is awesome lol. Its an eberlestock gunslinger 2. it has a foldable scabbard for an ar-15 and plenty of room for stuff you want to pack.

Finally got my latest addition (S&W M&P Shield 9mm):

PX4Shield.jpg

I knew the Shield was going to be smaller, but the difference really only becomes evident when they're side by side: The PX4 dwarfs my new Shield.

I had this when I was in army - nice piece of weaponry

but of course at home and in private I have no weapon

I suppose the military versions were a lot better than the ones we get in the States, there's mixed reviews on the sig 556 here.

    • Password Safe 3.72.0 by Razvan Serea Password Safe is a password database utility. Like many other such products, commercial and otherwise, it stores your passwords in an encrypted file, allowing you to remember only one password (the "safe combination"), instead of all the username/password combinations that you use. Once stored, your user names and passwords are just a few clicks away. Using Password Safe you can organize your passwords using your own customizable references—for example, by user ID, category, web site, or location. You can choose to store all your passwords in a single encrypted master password list (an encrypted password database), or use multiple databases to further organize your passwords (work and home, for example). And with its intuitive interface you will be up and running in minutes. PasswordSafe was originally designed by the renowned security technologist Bruce Schneier and released as a free utility application. Password Safe 3.72.0 changelog: Fixed bugs Improved font scale handling - should resolve font size issues on high resolution displays. GH1749 In the Master Password Setup window, "Show Master Password" is no longer truncated on some displays. GH1092, SF1595 Size and position of main window is now correctly restored on scaled displays. SF1630 Keep password expiry date when both password and password expiry are changed; don't clear a non-recurring expiry when the password's changed. SF1628 Custom values can now be copied to the clipboard in read-only mode via Ctrl-C and right-click->Copy Value. New features GH1196 Dark display mode support: Password Safe now supports the system display mode, as well as setting the mode directly via Manage->Options->Display->Display Mode. This change also updates the general "look & feel" of the app to the current Windows theme. Known limitations: The Date picker and keyboard shortcut controls do not switch to dark theme The Customize Toolbar dialog does not switch to dark theme Custom Field support has been added to the more advanced features: Filters XML and Text import and export Comparison, Sync and Merge databases SF938 Custom field values may now be selected by name and copied via a "Copy Custom Field Value..." submenu in the entry context popup menu. • I've got a SoundBlasterX G6 that I use in my streaming setup. Sounds great to me and I've had zero issues with the ancient software package so far in Win11. That G6 has 7.1, Dolby, fully working SPDIF and since it's a USB device it's outside of my rig so I don't have to worry about EMF distortion. Looks like for now this is a pass for me as I think I have better hardware....
    • How do you connect 5.1 Speakers to this thing?
    • I agree with both of you... It's absolutely imperative that science is completely based on actual proven facts and hard evidence and is not considered dogmatic in any way. Science is not a religion and it will never be, and that's exactly how it's supposed to be.
