I've got what _I_ consider a bug, but it may not be avoidable. Using this theme changes the standard white color of my Word docs to a subtle off-white. Which is annoying when I'm doing graphics (I know, I know) in Word for work & stuff. Is that an easy fix?

Just use a 3dcc scheme with a white background.

This can fixed by changing the Window background color to white in the Appearances property sheet.

i find it odd that IMO bant's themes are the best out there and yet he gets the most ****

i think his attitude is just plain funny and only a magnification of what most themers are feeling inside.

on the one hand having fewer versions or mods gives the theme identity and further points out that themers do indeed have a life and cannot respond to every little request of random users... they are after all providing a voluntary and free service (a fine one at that)

additionally, it emphasizes the credit due to authors that devote a LOT of time in an effort to please everyone. sz1 is definitely one of those individuals that comes to mind...

there's always the argument that if you want a theme to look a certain way then DO IT YOURSELF. It is hypocritical of me to say that since i am too damn lazy to do so in many cases, but the key thing is that instead of whining i simply say oh well and hope one day i bother to actually utilize that program named stylebuilder.

lastly, i'm not saying you should never request anything. Many themers happily fulfill your each and every demand, but just know when NOT to request. Like when they specifically say DON'T REQUEST COLOR MODS. On all of their themes. Repeatedly. In capitals. And bold. And their username is BANT (=P).

Moral of the story: use common sense.

Oh, and as for this theme: Thanks for another sexilicious theme bant... Great job on taking the essence of a FUGLY theme like luna and creating something as beautiful as this (keyword: creating... i think one of the only aspects of the theme that actually inherits characteristics directly from luna is the name itself).

lol... yeah.... count your blessings! (jk).... im glad at least some of you enjoy my themes as they are, and can respect my decision to be anal about my theme threads, it's just so much easier than pretending like i care if your family can't find the start button.

though i might not express it often, all of your support is greatly appreciated.

    • COBOL itself is not the problem. Code that has been bodged and kludged over decades but still somehow runs is probably the sort of Gordian knot that even AI can't necessarily unravel.
    • Nice devices but my Surface Pro 9 got bricked from a Windows Update efter only three years. Never buying a device from MS again.
