Is Sikhism in decline? I live in Leicester, a city in the UK that have a very mixed race community. We have a lot of whites obviously, but a high percentage of Asians too. There seems to be more Muslims than Sikhs but not a huge percentage difference. There's also a lot of Chinese people here - mostly university students. And then we also have a very strong Eastern European community too.

I know saying a positively charged comment about a race/community/ethnicity/religion is as racist as a negative comment - but I like Sikhs, every Sikh person I have met seems REALLY respectful.

Everyone says that, Sikhs are known for their big hearts, their ability to adapt a culture, wherever they go they accept that place's culture. You make a joke on them, they will laugh with you.

Don't know about abroad but at its home country india, its hard to find a sikh with full grown beard and 5 K's ... The youth is after fashion and beard to them is a disgrace. Even i am partially atheist (i believe their exists a controlling energy but its not alive/has emos , just pure laws of universe) but since i was born in a sikh family , i think i should carry on the tradition further. Anyways we going off topic :p

There are lots of movements going in Punjab and Chandigarh to promote "5K's" or " Kesh rakho singh sajo ". And i see some positive effects of this on youngsters, but i agree with you on fashion part, i think the Sikhs living in other countries are more religious than the Sikhs living in India.

Nope, from Bihar.

Oh, the place in your pic people and their dresses looks completely different from here, its like its from other country.

You mean the Reapers? :p

Noooo , i mean that energy doesn't give any darn if you pray to it or praise it or say against it. Its neither on side of living beings nor of non living , good or bad , it's just holding some basic laws to run this universe...

I think he was joking :|

20s. Early.

Their growth is slow. :( Inn my case. It puts me off to see similarly aged people with full grown mustaches.

I can't figure out the problem

THere's no problem.

When i was young i was one of the guy with the less facial and body hairs. Now i'm in the average lol.

I'm 35 yo and every year i have a little more than the previous year. It doesn't stop ;)

They are green; lighting always changes the depth of the color though. Thank you very much. :) I've been gone for a long time now, just wanted to drop in to let some know that I'm very much alive. Keep all of the awesome pics coming! :)

    • One reason it might be running hotter is dust build up within the cooling or perhaps the paste has dried out. You could always try repasting your old GPU and cleaning the cooler. Your experience in Linux will be much better with an AMD GPU; the performance in gaming is much closer to Windows than nVidia would be. I personally think on Windows, AMD drivers are junk.
    • I reviewed it back in March, but I didn't have a 5070 at the time https://www.neowin.net/reviews/amd-rx-9070-review-vs-rtx-5070-4070-and-rx-9070-xt-7800-xt--just-good-enough/ When I reviewed the 9070 I did have a 5070 to compare it against, so the scores are there for the 9070 XT. it outperforms the 5070 in raster, and is barely neck and neck in Ray Tracing. So it's better than a 5070 in everything but Ray Tracing where it is neck and neck, or just under. To be honest, the uplift from 3080 when it was new to the 9070 XT is not as great a step up. If you can find a used 4080 Super for around the same money, you would probably be better off, but if you only want to buy new then the 16GB 9070 XT is the best value for money in its category.
    • I really hope the author's health is ok. Squirreling away a official backup of this software. Looks like the internet archive already cached a copy as well - https://web.archive.org/web/20...ldbit-soft.fi/software.html
    • AMD is supported out of the box in linux because of their open source driver. Nvidia does not. All my systems are amd and all of them work nicely on linux arch without doing anything.
    • Never had a problem with TPM and started using that many years ago in Win10. Through several motherboards and OS versions, it just does what it does without complaint. My games library doesn't even know it's there. Secure boot does a lot more than support anti-cheat, as it came along long before anti-cheat software. I've used it religiously since before I started using TPM, and I always liked it for being able to nullify virus contagions that try their best to come in underneath the firmware during boot, so that the OS doesn't see them, etc. That is its purpose, imo. I'll never understand why people who elect to use another OS feel compelled to run down Windows... I guess they need to do that to feel secure about their choices? I run Windows because it supports all the software (including games) natively that I want to buy, and I've never had to run down another OS to make me feel better about it. (Although it's certainly possible to do that, of course...) Win10 is on a ventilator atm, and Win11 is very close to being free, and I finally got to stop running StartAllBack as I moved to the Experimental/Dev channel and my 26300.8553 build supports the moveable taskbar and it's running fine at the top of the screen! Finally, my last major dislike of Win11 is being rectified! So, I'm not at all surprised to see Win11's share of the Steam survey hitting 70%.
