Basically, this movie is about a group of teenagers with the ability to move objects with their minds. It's presented in a found footage manner where the entire movie is composed of what various cameras see (e.g. a character's camera, a street camera, etc). I was looking forward to this movie for awhile so my expectations were high and I wasn't disappointed at all. In fact, I walked out of the theatre with a smile on my face. The actors that play the three teenagers did a good job despite the fact that they're not well-known. Most people expect lesser-known actors to be less skilled which isn't the case with the cast of Chronicle. Overall, the movie was thoroughly enjoyable because it portrayed just what you'd expect while throwing in a twist here and there. The special effects are, for the most part, quite good.

It's not a bad movie at all. As of writing this post, it has an 84% on Rottentomatoes.

It was surprisingly great. (I didn't have particularly high expectations for it.) One of the better "found footage" movies.

Really good. I was very surprised at it. Like Anaron i left the cinema with a smile on my face, to be honest i had a smile throughout most of the film. I thought Dane DeHaan (Andrew) did a brilliant job. I don't know if they could do a sequel though.

I even got a few friends to go along to watch it who really never listen to my advice about films/music/games/tv because i'm a "nerd". They all come out thinking it was good also.

You know, I expected it to be interesting, and it was. However it surpassed expectations and let me down at the same time...

The ending was too easy, there was little explanation, I'd have liked more depth to the turning of the lead character. But I 100% enjoyed it :)

I saw the movie few weeks ago as well and I really liked it. I'm not a really big fan of found footage movies because I can't deal with the camera spinning all over the place, but surprisingly, the director did a really good job at keeping the camera somewhat steady. As for the movie, I did want a little more out of the ending, but overall it was a good storyline. Those expecting to get a deep explanation for the cause of their powers will be dissapointed however. It's rather a documentary about how they deal with the powers and each other.

I tried to watch this film twice, and I just couldnt do it.

I really liked this movie. The shakey cam does not bother me and thought it worked well here. The ending was horrible. I mean I was expecting more damage. city blocks to be wiped away and total chaos. It was not like that.
