Now where we can get this awesome skin of Sysmetrix?

Sweet, thanks for the tutorial links. Worked like a charm. As for the SysMetrix, I emailed tiger2kn5 for permission to release it. As soon as he says yes, I'll upload it to the sites I know about for SysMetrix skins. I can even give a link to the skin here.

I've been trying to download the "maetallized" theme (and this one) from the FusionLab site, but I keep getting corrupted, unopenable files. Anyone have an alternate link for both "metallized" and this theme?

are you using the latest version of winzip?

  • 3 weeks later...

I finally got around finishing the RhodiumX update, i think you guys will be very happy with all the hard work that went into this update. :)

This update contains the following:

- The black color variation

- Oldecrow's Blue Mod (green coming soon)

- Matching Logons for each color

- Matching Msginas for each color

- Logoff screen Bitmaps (must change manually)

Oldecrow helped me out with the shellstyles, well actually he did it all by himself so he deserves all credit, he also finished off the logons which i slacked off and never finished, So thank you Oldecrow.

Im not sure if this update causes StyleXP to crash like the last but if it does then use the Display property to change the the style. I have contacted TgTsoft about the crash and they have yet to give me an answer, if someone can provide me with an error code maybe that can help them identify the problem better.

I will be posting Instructions on changing the logons and Msginas as well as the logoff screen later on for those that have no clue on how to do it or don't use styleXP. Right now its kind of late and i need to get some sleep before a hard day at work tommorow.

The screenshots of the skin can be found on the visual section of my site,

Fusionlab.net

here are some screenshots of the logons screens:

Blue

Green

Black

Orange

EDIT: First post was updated as well

the link seems down for me
Really, is working fine here, can you try again and let me know if the link is still down
Aw man... I mainly use WB these days...

I didn't make the port i mainly hosted it, i don't make WB skins so if the porter wants to update his port and would still like for me to host then i won't mind but i don't make the WB port.

BlueMod is simply perfection.

This is exactly the variation of RhodiumX I've always hoped to see. Thank you very much.

The button text is not vertically centered. Is it intentional?

If you are refering to the regular pushbuttons its not intentional, the buttons have a built in drop shaddow that i didnt adjust for :)

it will be fixed in the next update :D

Very impressive, I can see myself using this for a long time. It's a perfect blend of angles and smoothness.

Can anyone recomend a good wallpapaer for the blue colour theme? The one depicted in fusionlab.net is especially seksy, and I'd appreciate it if you could provide some linkage :)

    • I can name 10x that on why not to switch.... It's funny outlook/office are going towards web app wrappers, and then MS is now preaching native apps again.... ugh can we just pick a lane and stay in it
    • Absolutely NOBODY has suggested such a conclusion. I am affirming the sober reality check that AV2's overall market adoption will take longer than AV1's adoption rate -- which, by the way, is the whole point of the article! While PCI-SIG is productive (on paper), other WGs have created all sorts of confusing progress plans that consumers have tuned-out of their improvements... HTML/W3C, USB, HDMI, BT, WIFI (ieee802.11) as a few other groups where spec naming conventions, split progress paths, overlapping ambitions... I'm not critiquing the AV specs group; I'm simply affirming that adoption for AV2 faces headwinds beyond the macroeconomics of it all.
