BTW, in UK you can legally drink alcohol at the age of 5 or 6, can't quite remember

Between the ages of 5 and 17, it is legally permissible for children to drink alcohol at home or at a friend's house with the permission of a parent or legal guardian

Is it just me thats thinking that Jewish people all get circumsised and this is weird that GERMANY off all countries and making it illegal?

Quite a few countries have propositions on making it illegal already (and some already consider it an assault) - they've just been taking a little longer.

What jew told you that?

Edit: For the record, I am circumcised and wish I would of had the choice.

The same ones that taught us in school to wash after using the washroom.

Enough with the jabs about me not using soap. FYI I use soap and clean my penis and the ones insinuating I don't are acting like children.

Poor german porno-actors...

This has no affect on them. This is about preventing circumcision on boys, males not old enough to make the decision for themselves. Once you're 18 (I guess, didn't see anything mentioned in the article) you could probably get circumcised if you wanted. Heck, by that point if you wanted to get circumcised and it was still banned you could just hop to a country where it isn't illegal.

so why exactly do you think that those of us with foreskin can't clean ourselves, and why do you have this delusion that's it's harder to clean an uncut one ? if anything it's cleaner since you don't get all the underwear lint and crap stuck behind the head. but the reality is that it's no different, and that countries where cutting is highly uncommon, like most of Europe, doesn't have higher rates of STD's, if anything it's lower.

My wife and I have three boys. We just had our last one this past March and we debated quite a bit about having it done. I was against it and she was for it. Our other two boys are circumcised, we were in our young 20s when they were born and didn't really think about it at the time. This time, I really didn't want it to happen, but after talking to the doctor and my wife I grugingly gave my consent. The main reason being that his brothers were circumcised and we didn't want him to think something was wrong with him. If I could do it again though, I wouldn't have had any of my boys circumcised.

Shouldn't cave bro. My bro was cut and I wasn't. I don't think there's anything wrong with me. I like the way mine looks.

I think you have no clue what you're talking about, no in fact I know you don't.

I bet you think I'm ten, and a virgin. Quite not true, on another note I am definitely the opposite of a pimp.

But one thing for certain: Most of the chicks I talk to think uncircumcised is disgusting [America]. Benefits of being in the military is I get to hear all sorts of stuff related to this.

Piercings aren't permanent. If you remove the ring, stud, bar or whatever, it closes over. I don't think parents should pierce their kinds bodies either, but you are comparing to radically different things.

Disagree, an ear piercing cause's no permanent change to the body.

You can remove the stud/ring and never know it had been pierced. Whereas with circumcision this is not the case now is it.?

bull****. I got an eye brow ring 13 years ago and still have the hole even though I only had it for 3 months. My left ear holes never fulled closed either and you can clearly see where it was done. It makes a permanent scare in most cases. Anyone that says otherwise is full of ****. It may close in some cases but certainly not all.

Well, that settles it folks. The expert has spoken. Case closed.

Wee you talk to a lot of dumb chicks.

Not necessarily.

I talked to a girl who thought uncircumcised == gross once. And that was in France, not in the U.S.. The reason? Her current boyfriend was circumcised (because of his religion) and cleaned his penis properly, but her last two boyfriends were uncircumcised and didn't clean their penises. She simply assumed there was a correlation between the two - can't blame her for that.

How long till its illegal to have your daughters get ear piercings.... Sigh, society moving backwards as always.

It should be illegal if it's being done without consent. Most guys who are circumcised never made the choice themselves. It was done for them.

I think a lot of the American women who think it's "disgusting" are saying that because it's something different that they aren't used to, and people of average or lower intelligence tend to fear the unfamiliar :p I'm pretty sure if they actually experienced it, many of their tunes would change.

Unless she had an experience like the French girl Aethec is talking about, that's gross. Is this just a male thing? Women have skin folds and things to clean down there too...

The thing is, you're going to be well used to cleaning and otherwise dealing with whatever you do or don't have down there, since it's what you've had all your life, and if you're a disgusting pig who doesn't clean their genitals properly, the issue isn't whether or not you have a foreskin.

Circumcision debate, really?

IMO, Good for Germany. Choosing to chop of a babies foreskin when he doesn't have a say in it is wrong imo. Wait till he grows up and he can decide for himself.

Exactly. The foreskin can trap all sorts of nasty bacteria and can increase the risk of contracting an STD.

Uhh...

We prevent that by washing it with soap?

I can't believe it had to be explained that the magical invention of soap exists.

Circumcision is not a violent act, female circumcision has nothing to do with this thread, this is solely about male circumcision, both are worlds apart.

It doesn't matter whether it is "violent" or not. The fact is that it is being done to infants and children who have no say in the matter. That is wrong.

Like I said, this is purely an attack on religion, there aren't enough incidents for this ban to be justified, why didn't Germany ban beer yet? Way more people hurt themselves and die because of alcohol, why the hell is it still freely available to society?

It's not an "attack on religion". Anybody who is religious can have the procedure performed. However, it should not be performed upon children who do not understand religion or partake in it and who do not have the mental faculties to make such a decision in order to accommodate the beliefs or traditions of their parents. Female circumcision is illegal - regardless of religious beliefs - yet male circumcision is not.

As usual, the US and Middle East are completely out of step with the rest of the civilised world.

Penn & Teller on circumcision NSFW

As I said, I've been circumcised, but I was put to sleep during the operation, but I can still remember the amount of pain I went through after the operation.

Believe me when I say it really really ****ing hurts, especially when you urinate. I'm talking shaking, sweating, blood draining from your face pain. The only way I could **** without that pain, was to submerge my dick in water, so that the urine is instantly diluted. I found that out the hard way, after frantically running my dick under a cold tap to try and stop the pain.

I had to sleep with a lampshade over my crutch, I had to wear tracksuit bottoms, and keep one hand down the front of them to hold them away from me. How can a baby do any of that to avoid the pain?

I'm not mentally scared by it in any way, and I'm totally fine with my new lady killer, but that is not the point.

Watching that baby scream in pain (trust me, that is not regular baby crying) has literally made me shake with anger. How the **** can anybody think that is OK? It's sickening, barbaric and totally ****ing pointless.

A mate of mine had an eyebrow ring but had to take it out when he started his new job. It's entirely healed over. There indeed may be examples where if the piercing is poorly done it might damage the skin so it doesn't heal properly. Maybe how long you keep the ring in effects how well it heals. You can't use your example as the be all and end all and accuse everyone else of being full of ****.

In any case, piercings and circumcision are not evenly remotely the same.

    • Google begins rolling out its post-Epic Play Store billing model next week by Karthik Mudaliar Google has confirmed that its redesigned Play Store billing and fee structure will take effect on June 30, 2026, in the United States, the United Kingdom, and the European Economic Area. The changes will let eligible developers offer their own payment systems or send users to an external website for purchases, while separating Google’s platform service fee from the cost of using Google Play Billing. The rollout puts concrete dates and detailed rate cards behind the broader Android policy overhaul Google announced in March. That announcement followed a proposed settlement with Epic Games intended to resolve their long-running disputes over app distribution and payments, although the U.S. portion of the agreement still requires court approval. Under the new billing choice program, developers selling digital content or services can display an alternative payment option alongside Google Play Billing. They may also direct users to their own websites to complete a purchase. Developers can use Google’s standard payment-choice screen or design one that complies with the company’s user-interface rules. Choosing another payment processor does not eliminate Google’s cut altogether. The company will continue charging a service fee for transactions associated with apps distributed through Google Play, regardless of whether payment is handled by Google, an alternative provider, or a developer’s website. Google argues that this fee covers the value and infrastructure provided by Android and the Play Store. For developers earning up to $1 million annually, the service fee will generally be 10 percent. That rate also applies to auto-renewing subscriptions. When Google Play Billing is used in the U.S., U.K., or EEA, Google will add a separate 5 percent billing fee, and developers processing payments elsewhere will not pay that additional charge. This means Google’s familiar flat 30 percent commission is disappearing, but developers will not necessarily see a dramatic reduction on every transaction. An in-app purchase from an existing user processed through Google Play Billing can still reach a combined 30 percent. The biggest savings are likely to come from subscriptions, smaller developers covered by the $1 million tier, and companies able to move customers to their own payment infrastructure. Google is also offering lower rates through its Apps Experience and revamped Games Level Up programs. Apps and games that satisfy the company’s requirements can qualify for 15 percent service fees on new-install transactions and 20 percent on existing-install transactions. The criteria include performance and reliability standards, support for additional Android device categories, and selected platform features. Those program rates are scheduled to become available in the initial markets and Australia on September 30. For consumers, the immediate effect will depend on whether developers adopt alternative payments and pass any savings on through lower prices. For developers, however, June 30 begins a more flexible but considerably more complicated Play Store economy in which distribution, billing, install dates, revenue thresholds, and program participation can each affect Google’s final cut. Google is also separately developing a Registered App Stores program designed to simplify the installation of qualifying third-party stores. That initiative is expected to arrive with a major Android release later in 2026 and will launch outside the U.S. first. Google says the rest of the world will receive the changes by September 30, 2027, although billing rates for markets outside the US, UK, and EEA have not yet been announced.
