Let who have guns? You can get guns illegally too dude. The Mexican cartels have no problem getting illegal guns.

All you need is money or drugs and boom you can buy guns, it's not rocket science kids.

Right. So you might aswell make it easy for any one to get them?

Even if they ban ownership of firearms and demand us to turn them in, do you really think owners would give up their weapons? Hell no. They will have to take them from me. But they better bring a lot of body bags with them.

Ok, you've changed my mind. If I lived next to you I would want a gun.

Good job Fox News.. You riled up rednecks to the point where they go with their guns and kill everyone they think are muslims. I hope government raises investigation in this and Fox News religious and anti-muslim fear mongering and shuts them down permanently.

Awesome, you like the other id10ts out there jumping forward like MSNBC and blaming the right already. Just like in Florida with the Martin shooting, why wait for the facts before, oh wait, why be right, just loud and mouthy.

LOL.. here I'll live you with this.. there are HUNDREDS of clips and collages like this..

Not to mention months of calling the president muslim as if he was a terrorist.

This is your typical Fox News message.

At least you'd be decent enough to put them in body bags after you shot them. I mean, because they couldn't do it themselves.

Anyway, no one is talking about banning firearms. It's a discussion about the practicality and viability of regulation.

A couple ppl in this thread mentioned banning and gun control. So I was stating my opinion on that. Sorry I got a little side tracked. As for the shootings, someone was blaming it on Rednecks. I guess the old addage "Blame it on the Rednecks" is still alive and well. Rednecks and Racists do NOT go hand in hand. Only a sick individual could have done something like this.

Really, so that is why it is the #1 cable TV news channel? It is rated higher in the US then all other channels added together, and world wide it was a tie with BBC.

Sorry, but they really don't talk about muslims and terrorism all the time here in america , they do talk about the government waste other BS that is going on.

Being #1 doesn't make it the best. Given that more Americans accept young earth creationism than evolution I don't think judging how popular something is gives you an accurate measure of it's voracity. Americans seem to love drama and Fox sells that in abundance.

It's the fear factor man.. when you go and spread how muslims are taking over, president is a muslim terrorist, Sharia is taking over and muslim flag will be over white house (btw, all things talked about on Fox non-stop), you have people watching again because they are scared it's true. They are not thinking "OMG these guys are lying and fear mongering" etc.. they watch because they believe it and lack an ounce of critical thinking or care to check facts because they think everyone else is a lying liberal who wants socialism and to hurt America.

No intellectual will watch Fox News. At least not a single one I know.. that's why Fox is viewed so much.. they create these lies and fear mongering so they can get people to watch in fear they will miss something life threatening.

Well we see what that thing brings. Rednecks take guns and go kill anyone who is colored thinking they are muslims and in the mean time Fox and right wing is saying "we need assault rifles and don't let them take it away from you".

Now you can put 2 and 2 together right? On one hand America being taken over by muslims, gays and so on and on the other hand government wants to take your guns. What could go wrong right?

Really now? So ppl from other countries don't? Foreigners latch onto the worst in America and go on websites and post about how bad we are. That isn't drama? In your mind I guess it isn't.

Fair point. 9/11 was a gold mine for Fox, it put the fear in people that they exploit so readily.

Nope. The only industrialised country worse than America on acceptance of Evolution is Turkey.

Yes, forks can kill, baseball bats, vehicles, a plastic bag, the list literally goes on and on and on and on of all of the different items that can be used to kill. We all know this to be fact.

With that said, if anyone in their right mind is going to try and tell me that guns are not the most efficient means for killing, then that is truly ridiculous. End of story.

So keep on trying to use this as some kind of counter argument. I will still know guns make it a hell of a lot easier to kill then anything else out there.

Guns are not the most efficient means for killing. You remember the Sarin gas attack on the Japanese subways a few years back?

13 dead, 50 seriously injured, 1000's injured: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarin_gas_attack_on_the_Tokyo_subway

Ricin is also much more effective at killing people than guns and still available because guess what?? Criminals don't give a rats behind the stuff is illegal.

Those things however are either harder to acquire or take more skill to effect. With a gun it's simply a case of point and click, it makes use of lethal force extremely easy. Nobody's claiming that guns are the only things that kill but they do make killing damn easy.

You'd rather murder people than relinquish your weapons? You epitomise everything that is wrong with US gun culture. I mean, that's such a stupid statement to make. Either you're talking crap - in which case who are you actually trying to impress? - or you'd follow through with such a threat, which means you're actually a psychopath and should never have been allowed guns in the first place.

Every time I think humanity can't sink any lower I come across people like you.

Nope. The only industrialised country worse than America on acceptance of Evolution is Turkey.

I don't give a damn about creation or evolution. I was responding to you talking about America and drama. You foreigners LOVE drama. Especially when you hear something bad happening here in the States. "Oooo, look! Another shooting in the USA!!!" Then run and post it every where saying how bad we are. Stirring up all the trolls who hate America. If that isn't drama, I don't know what is.

Your posts seem to be confirming every stereotype that I make. You value your guns over other people's lives which speaks volumes about you as a person and about the nature of US gun culture in general.

It's good to see guns protecting more lives... oh wait.

In cases like this and the Colorado shooting, its the restrictions on guns that are the problem.

Both places are gun free zones, meaning if you are a law abiding citizen, you cannot carry your firearm in there with you.

In other words, these people are attacking a disarmed people.

So yea, your whole "gun control" idea worked perfectly, it kept lawful firearms owners who abide by the restrictive gun control rules from being armed in the face of someone that is going to break the law anyhow.

But nice try.

There have already been several high profile shootings in the US in recent months and yet you're using one knife attack in China to try to justify the ineffectual gun restrictions in the US?

You can't use that as a blanket statement to avoid sensible restrictions on firearms. By that logic people shouldn't be required to have a driving licence as everybody should have the liberty to drive as they please. Liberties only extend to the point that they impact other people and in the US it is clear that the lack of adequate regulations is costing more lives than it is protecting.

There are already laws on the books about how, when and where to use firearms, laws about what happens even when unsafely used and even unsafely stored. Hey guess what, theres even a law or 2 that make murder and attempted murder illegal. So if someone was going to break all those other laws, they will break further laws regarding gun control as well, just like they did in Colorado and here in the "gun free zones"

It really cant be said any clearer, the only people impacted by gun control laws are the law abiding citizens that will follow them, and those (supposedly) are not the ones you are trying to disarm anyhow are they?

Gun restrictions have been proven to work in numerous countries, including the UK and Germany. This isn't some hypothetical scenario - gun restrictions reduce firearms fatalities.

Wrong, when gun control was introduced in Germany by Chancellor Adolph Hitler in the 1930s, it actually led to a LOT more firearms fatalities.

sigh. I love those who hate guns or blame guns. I'm sorry but, it REALLY appears that they haven't fully processed the fact that, the reason for the 2nd ammendment isn't for hunting or target shooting, it is for allowing citizens to arm themselves.

@ theyarecomingforyou: you may THINK gun control works. But criminals still can get them. everyone is jealous of the US and it's 2nd ammendment.

besides. you fail to realize a truth. What ever happened to personal responsibility? having lived in germany for over a decade, it is a police state. So many ramifications of when a citizenry can't defend themselves. someone tell me please. " do you think your government is looking out for your interests?"

Sadly, reactions to these situations always take the lazy route and make guns the scapegoat. The real source of the problem stems from mentally unstable people. Why do we not take mental health more serious in this country? Guns are merely a tool in which the vast, vast, vast majority of owners do not go around killing innocent lives. It's just but a tiny minority of owners who make the rest look bad. Let's start taking mental health more serious and problems such as these will become less frequent.

p.s. if you politicize these tragic events, you're scum.

I'll match mine against yours any day, but then again I would have to give a few dozens points to even have a chance.

Fact #1 - By using the term 'assault rifle' you already provide your lack of understand as the legal def under the US law is ' Military looking or Military Like in looks', nothing to do with function or action.

nice try,

Posts like this just bring out the American hating trolls. Might as well title it: "American Haters Unite!!!" and be done with it.

Well that's why I proposed everyone should carry guns in USA.

edit: yes notice I used "guns"...you never know what criminals will use!!!111111

Wrong, when gun control was introduced in Germany by Chancellor Adolph Hitler in the 1930s, it actually led to a LOT more firearms fatalities.

And yet now Germany has a very low rate of firearms fatalities. Even if the US were to introduce proper restrictions on guns tomorrow it would take years, if not decades to start to make a difference. Nobody is claiming that this is an overnight fix.

In cases like this and the Colorado shooting, its the restrictions on guns that are the problem.

Both places are gun free zones, meaning if you are a law abiding citizen, you cannot carry your firearm in there with you.

Stop watching Fox News. Seriously. If there were adequate gun restrictions in place you wouldn't need to worry about such attacks, so you wouldn't have anything to defend yourself from.

There are already laws on the books about how, when and where to use firearms, laws about what happens even when unsafely used and even unsafely stored. Hey guess what, theres even a law or 2 that make murder and attempted murder illegal.

And despite all of that the US has a massive problem with gun crime. The system doesn't work. Restricting guns reduces the number of firearms fatalities.

It's really bizarre that people would advocate more guns and more places to allow them as a solution. That's not addressing the problem - that's contributing to it!

This isn't about people hating Americans. This is about people like you making stupid statements, like threatening to murder people should they ever try to take your guns away. Do you honestly think you have a sane and defensible position?

Any criticism of any part of American culture gets one labelled as anti-American these days. Just ignore it ;)

    • Didn’t Dbrand once complain that Casetify was ripping off their designs a well? seems pretty bad of them to try and get around Valve’s copyright this way with that in mind.
    • Dbrand thought they could get away with this Steam Machine case, Valve disagreed by David Uzondu Image via Dbrand Dbrand has cancelled its highly anticipated Companion Cube enclosure for the Valve Steam Machine, which it teased back in November of last year with a concept render and sign-up page, because it did not ask Valve for permission first before manufacturing the case. According to Dbrand, it took the "backwards approach" of building the product first before asking for permission from the copyright holder. Seven months of work went into the project, requiring over a thousand engineering hours from the design team. Workers developed forty-four sets of injection molding tools, making a unique mold for each sub-component of the crate. When the Companion Cube went live on Monday last week, it, according to Dbrand, quickly became the second-fastest-selling product in the company's fifteen-year history, racking up orders for hundreds of thousands of units. Customers eagerly bought the $129.95 deluxe edition or the bare-bones $99.95 version, which the manufacturer cheekily branded as the "Poverty Cube". It was around this time that the legal eagles at Valve descended on the accessory maker with a formal demand. The developer pointed out that the iconic block design remains protected intellectual property from the game Portal, so unlicensed sales had to stop. Dbrand said that all its pleas to salvage the project with the Valve team, including proposals to run a properly licensed release under official terms "with their blessing", fell on deaf ears, so it had no choice but to obey and remove every trace of the product from the internet. If you bought the enclosure, the company said that banks will process your refund by the end of this week, but if it still hasn't arrived in your account by then, you should not hesitate to contact support. The Steam Machine itself is a high-performance console that Valve designed directly to bring PC gaming into the living room. It was announced on 12th November 2025 (the same day Dbrand announced the Cube) and runs on the Linux-based SteamOS, the same OS that powers the Steam Deck. As for the price, due to the shortage of memory and storage chips, the hardware cost landed much higher than people were expecting, starting at $1,049 for the 512 model (without a controller) or $1,128 with the new gamepad. The premium 2 TB model pushes those prices even higher, selling at $1,349 for the standalone console and hitting $1,428 if you want the bundle.
    • It's listed #399.99 on Amazon, per your link. It's not $299.99.
