Shooting at Wisconsin Sikh temple

What utter nonsense. A few handguns and automatic weapons aren't going to do anything against a government willing to use tanks, jets, helicopter gunships, chemical weapons or drone strikes against its citizens. Yet firearms restrictions do reduce the number of firearms fatalities... dramatically.

It worked for Libya No firearms alone wouldn't but don't you think it would be the IRAQ times 100? Of course you don't, There are places where civilians get tactical training in the style of military training by former special forces members and other agencies. There's one called Tactical Response. Its located in my state. The owner and his instructors go through training exercises just like the military would but for civilians. A lot of gun owners take those classes so trust me there would be some tactics involved in fighting an enemy who ever it would be.

And here was me thinking that the US was a civilised country. My mistake.

Yeah I guess we are old fashion. We got rid of a monarchy 200+ years ago  I bet the majority of you brits would love to come here and shoot guns at a gun range so you can go home and tell your friends that you shot guns in the colonies..Then the next day you'd be ranting on neowin about how those blood thirsty americans are allowed to own guns.

Found this disturbing. An anti gunners tweets. One particular tweet disturbed me the most. The one about if things wont change at the ballot box theres always the ammo box. An anti gunner willing to kill people to make people turn to control?

They don't understand. They don't have to deal with gang members willing to kill you over the things you own or kill you just because you're on their turf. They don't have the same problems we do.

KC, you've got some valid points in these gun debates, but I think you watched the Warriors too many times. Gang "turf" as you call it is all over. So, being on their turf may just be a matter of eating at a restaurant somewhere or shopping at a store, or getting gas, etc. And, they don't just arbitrarily kill the average citizen who steps on their turf.

For example, a white dude winds up where I grew up and isn't from there. Most people assume he's there to buy drugs. Nobody goes and tries to randomly kill the guy. I've never seen a banger say, "Say, cuz... that jive turkey honky on our turf. Let's lay this albino cat flat, blood."

Then Barbara Billingsley steps out and says, "Oh. I speak jive." Anyway... there's a chance they might rob the dude if he ain't there to buy drugs. Other than that, they don't really bother. So... lay off the flicks, money. Sucka chumps don't know nuttin' 'bout no geez.

They do how ever do a lot of home invasions and theres been times when they broke into the wrong house and killed everyone in the house because they thought that's where a rival gang member lived. It has happened and a lot of people think it wont ever happen to them but it does happen. I can't speak for Dallas but I can speak for where I used to live, North Highlands CA, there's a lot of crime and murders there. Gang activity and general low lifes. That place is what got me into gun ownership. A girl was killed in a drug store by a thug less than a mile from where I lived. Home invasions were happening on the same block on the same road as where I lived. in the next town over where I used to live before I moved to North Highlands a guy strangled to death his neighbor because he thought his neighbor hit it big at a casino and a few weeks later there was a dead body found the next road over from where I lived at the time. Telling me to give up my guns is just crazy when things like that do happen and happen daily.

True. It has happened. But, the majority of Americans don't ever come face-to-face with gang related incidents. Gangs frequent the inner-city where most Americans don't live.

Read my edited post above. Also I'm a originally from Knoxville,TN. I moved to CA and then moved back and before I moved back there was a case where this guy took this girl on a date they ended up getting car jacked and the woman was raped and murdered while tied up they also made her drink some kind of cleaning liquid . they took the guy shot him in the head and burned his body next to some rail road tracks. Even for a place like Knoxville crime happens. There's places in Knoxville I wouldn't go without a gun.

I know what you said. And I know what you were trying to get at. No the box cutter wasn't the reason they took over the plane. If they didn't have a box cutter, they still would have taken over the plane.

Well, reguardless of that they still used a consumer plane to be a weapon which is not meant to be used that way.

Well, reguardless of that they still used a consumer plane to be a weapon which is not meant to be used that way.

And since then the restrictions on airport security have increased.

Going back to firearms, polls show that the vast majority of Americans - including NRA members - support increased gun restrictions (read: not an outright ban) and yet politicians are afraid to act on that.

I hope something is done, the gun discussion in this nation needs to take place, it's not a matter of principle anymore, something needs to be done.

You know nothing about what you say so you should keep quiet on things above you :)

Really? The idea of an automatic seat belt which takes away a persons choice of whether to wear a seatbelt is the thought police?

I don't think they understand the concept of the Thought Police at all.

Might want to keep watching.. They go into more examples.

The Rise and fall of the third reich best read for me so far. Hitler loved his propaganda

http://www.wanttoknow.info/falseflag

about how the US government and other governments have staged for example fast and furious where the US government conspired to send 20,000 weapons to mexico and blame the 2nd amendment.

a great quote at forbes;

? Life is a system of half-truths and lies. Opportunistic, convenient evasion. ?

? Langston Hughes

the video is then backed by this Forbes report-->http://www.forbes.co...whistleblowers/

an excerpt:

the once-secret operation that, by design mind you, let thousands of guns ?walk? from U.S. gun stores to the arsenals of Mexican drug cartels.

By THE government. A government. you have to ask why?what is the gain? Obama has made it clear he's against gun ownership.. bingo, now you have MO

Airport security has flaws, terrorists can study and thus exploit those flaws.

There is no solution that will give you everything you want.

Bad people will find a way to do bad things.

Really? Bringing up Airport security? Airport security makes it hell for travelers if you want the same thing for gun owners lol. wow infringing on my right to bear arms and trampling on my right to persue happiness. The video I posted makes several points one is. Cars are made to go 120 mph and some even faster does that mean i'm going to drive that fast? No, I own a gun does that mean i'm going to go kill someone.NO. Another point it makes is people make guns and gun owners out to be evil, more than a few brits here have done that. They make guns and gun owners out to be evil and they keep repeating it hoping people will believe them and once people believe them the next generation will accept it. That's the case with the brits. Handguns were demonized in the u.k enough people believed it, got them banned and now the next generation accepts it and believes they are evil. Now they get on these international forums and speak out and tell me i'm evil and my gun is evil.

Yes, forks can kill, baseball bats, vehicles, a plastic bag, the list literally goes on and on and on and on of all of the different items that can be used to kill. We all know this to be fact.

With that said, if anyone in their right mind is going to try and tell me that guns are not the most efficient means for killing, then that is truly ridiculous. End of story.

So keep on trying to use this as some kind of counter argument. I will still know guns make it a hell of a lot easier to kill then anything else out there.

I'd say nuclear weapons would be the most efficient. Lasers. Maybe a chain gun?

The hypocrisy that you guys spew has become so ridiculous as of late. You're disturbed by this, yet you're not disturbed by one of your own refusing to give up their fire arms? "Hail of bullets" and all that silly B.S.?

Who's the one who needs a grip on reality? You condone shooting up a storm while throwing a tantrum because someone might take your toys away, but it disturbs you to know that someone is willing to pick up a gun and show how absolutely absurd current gun laws/restrictions are? I'd call you a complete moron, but then I'd be personally attacking you and then the whining would start and you'd cry like a little girl with a skinned knee about how much I don't know about you.

It's totally stupid moronic hypocritical posts such as this one that show people the kind of person you truly are. I may hate guns and in my personal opinion definitely believe they should be banned period, but I can admit to at the very least respecting a few of the pro-gun folks around here. You know, the ones who don't spew stupid crap like "OMG THIS DISTURBS ME! ANTI-GUN PEOPLE WANT TO SHOOT US!!!" after saying "YOU'LL HAVE TO PRY MY GUNS FROM MY COLD DEAD HANDS!!!!" or the other idiot who recommended bringing body bags if they wanted his guns.

I'd say it's unbelievable but...well....it's not.

First of all Calm down Second of all if you don't value you your freedom that's your choice but I do and many like me do. What is wrong with finding those tweets disturbing? I find it very disturbing. Defending my freedom against government repressors is hardly innocent people. You are trying your damnest to vilify me and I think that's comical because I've never harmed anyone in my life don't plan to either so long as i'm free to enjoy myself and enjoy what I want to do in life. If I'm not hurting anyone then don't invade on my right to pursue happiness. If government agents come to my house and force me against my will to give up my property your damn right i'm going to not go peacefully. But go ahead and take that out of context like im some mad man with a gun.. But back to the tweets I find those tweets highly offensive, saying if gun control wont pass in the ballot box they'll grab a gun and shoot people so it will happen? That's out of line I don't care what side your on. Comparing me to him is funny though because you act like i'd threaten innocent people if my guns were taken away..

I don't need to try my "damnest" to vilify you. You do a good job of that on your own, making idiotic statements such as "damn right I'm not going to go peacefully". Why shouldn't you? If the law changed and you were no longer allowed to own a gun, you should absolutely hand it over. By your own statements in the past, people give up their rights when they break the law. Either way, the fact of the matter is you say really stupid things and act all big and tough and when you get called on your B.S. you act like a wounded puppy "Omg you're trying to vilify me!" "Why are you personally attacking me?" "You don't even know me."

As much as I disagree with DocM and a few of the others about guns, they don't act like a bunch of idiots when discussing their points.

too add to your comment, the government "thought Police" demonize in this case gun owners. they tell those people, like the one you're talking to that we are bad, bad, bad enough, he/she will believe it.The government has done tests in the past on thought control. they did tests on how the mind works and spent millions to understand how the human mind works.

9-11 is a prime example. The "fearful" were so stuck to the TV's and scared ****less, then listening to the news reporters say over and over the official narrative, the people believe it.

Hitler demonized the jews as was stated in that video but that I already knew.

I think the biggest crime in this nation is, the loss of american people to think for themselves. to logically reason. They expect the government to tell them what to do, what to eat, what to drink and on and on.

COINTELPRO tactics included discrediting targets through psychological warfare; smearing individuals and groups using forged documents and by planting false reports in the media; harassment; wrongful imprisonment; and illegal violence, including assassination.[4][5][6] The FBI's stated motivation was "protecting national security, preventing violence, and maintaining the existing social and political order."http://en.wikipedia....wiki/COINTELPRO

there you go. the governments plan for the record. you think the government just stopped the program?
