whoever said it wasn't popular ;) , for the most part is was always the same few people complaining

It sure seems that way :) Anyway, I finally started the download and it's coming down at 5.3MB/sec so I should have it soon enough. Now to see if I can get a product key :D

So what is the confirmation of available Windows 8 ISO and Product keys from Technet then, is it true there is only 1 key and a Trial download or is it the full normal install with 3 keys + 10 machine per key ?

Just heard a few rumours saying 1 key and trial

Servers are getting hammered since a couple of hours now. Still no Windows 8 RTM on it, so it's probably a bad sign :p

yep, finally loaded again for me, still just CP and RP :(

Hi I just wondering if I were to apply to the Technet standard Subscription right now, would I be able to access the windows 8 download stright away????

As soon as you receive the activation email and activate it you should yea, but with the servers getting hammered it might not arrive instantly

is it really worth it at this point to get a technet subscription today? since you'll be able to get it in a couple of months for a fraction of the price

thank you for your quick response.

When you order a new Technet subscription, it can usually take up to 3 days for the activation e-mail to be received.

I first ordered my Technet subscription on 22nd March 2010, and the activation e-mail came through on the 25th.

thank you for your reply guess I have to play the waiting game to get my details.

    • Any decent ITSM will A) have a web form that allows a user to raise a ticket, if you're writing an email you can write a ticket. B) Monitor a mailbox and auto-generate tickets based on inbound mails for those users that really can't get their heads around the concept that if you have an issue you go to support.mycompany.com and fill in the box. From your description you're having users email the desk, and then having a human read each one and manually raise a ticket on behalf of the user.

    • I've never even heard of this browser before seeing this article. How does it differ from other browsers?
    • Fixing things? Have you ever tried linux? Everything works out of the box nowadays in most common hardware. This includes Wifi and Bluetooth. If anything, if they return back to windows is because they haven't found an equivalent program which often used on windows.
    • 18 months ago I bought the 4TB variant for $380 CDN. Now it is $1500 CDN [$949 US].
