Yes, but Mini Spy and Full Spy are unaware of these settings.

They'll show it anyways.

OK, my bad  . I'm just not up on these tech thingymabobs. I was thinking of the recent activity list on the main page.

The screenshot I showed in my post before was Mini Spy, if you want a full page full of Forum Spy, go to the "Spy" tab up there.

Or click this link: Spy

It allows you to see any posts or threads created on Neowin in "kind of realtime" (nothing is true realtime, but you know... pretty close... Maybe stuff is delayed by fraction of a second or if the forum is busy a second or two)

It isn't the "jokes" that **** people off, it's those threads that aren't jokes, like when you start a thread called (and I can't remember exactly what it was) "Here You Go" or words to that effect, and the actual post is "Exactly".

You know, not exactly a joke and a lot of people class it as spamming.

Well that joke in particular wasn't one of the two Non-jokes I posted. That was actually a Warwagon joke. I posted it. Cause it's a funny joke. You posted that poeple have different sense of humor. <snip>

I ****ing wish

Me too sometimes ;)

back at you. ;)

Bro, chill.

You're handing out some bad vibes and wonder you get bad vibes in return?

Not saying that's ok, but if you really want things to chill the flip out, stay calm.

Yes, even when people are bad to you.

I know I don't always stay calm myself, it's tough sometimes, but the more you try, the better it will help stuff not to derail and sh** to get personal.

If we ALL do this, this forum will be a better place. :)

(I know I'm sounding like a hippie now, but you can suggest and dream, right?)

Mini-spy is the box at the top with the five popular links. Full-spy is what you get when you click on the 'Mini-spy' text.

I have posted on Neoiwin since early 2002. I did not know that.Thanks. Well I just wasn't paying attention to it. I've used it though.

I hope not!

I hope not!

Possibly, i'm not sure.

And you can ignore people's posts

And a couple of your jokes from today were better than some of your previous ones. Keep up the good work.

Ok, but then is trolling that spam not something someone should not do as well? For the record, I only posted two non-jokes out of 33. Not a bad ratio. And I did those two while drunk. My bad. maybe we need a breathalyzer before posting?

Been there, done that :D

Patent the idea of a pre-post breathalyzer and you'll be in the money when someone tries to produce it.

Funny, there is no member listed as MAX!MUS

What happened to your old account ? Neowin does not delete accounts

why are you even so critical about it? why does it matter?

    • Linux 7.2's first release candidate gets off to a good start by Paul Hill Credit: Larry Ewing It has been a few weeks since the release of Linux 7.1, and in that time, the Linux 7.2 merge window has been open, where developers can submit their features and patches ready for the upcoming release. That window is now shut, and the release candidate phase has begun so that new features can be tested and further fixes applied. According to the founder of Linux, Linus Torvalds, this week’s release candidate looks “reasonably normal”. Although we are super early in the release candidates, this is a good sign as it makes it more likely that an eighth release candidate will not be needed. Torvalds even mentioned that the update’s stats are only larger than they really are because there was another AMD header drop with a third of the patch just being AMD GPU register definitions, which aren’t big changes but make the code contributed look larger overall. In addition to this, he noted that just over half the patch is drivers, even when excluding the AMD register dump. The rest of the changes are spread out over architecture updates, tooling, documentation, and core kernel updates. In the next week, Torvalds says that he will be chilling out, taking the week “mostly off”. Despite this, he will be reading emails and keeping up with things, so if he is slow responding, now you know why. He said he is hoping for a calm week, but we will just have to see if the second release candidate is actually like that. We should expect seven or eight release candidates before Linux 7.2 is released, so expect it around the end of August. If you missed it a few weeks ago, be sure to check out our coverage of Linux 7.1's release.
