Start Screen Animation in Second Monitor

when I bring up the Start Screen in my second monitor, the frame rate is definitely much lower.

Specs: i7 2600k, 8gb RAM, GTX 570, 2x 23" LCD monitors

Anyone else having a similar experience? Using the latest WHQL Win 8 drivers

I get this with everything on general on my laptop (video seems to be fine though), was the same story with Windows 7 too. Never did check if there was a reason why though, I just naively assumed that's just how it was being a single GPU laptop.

...Which isn't much help, but I'd be interested to know too if anyone has a good reason for this.

That doesn't happen here. I'm using the latest nVidia drivers (310.33), although I've used previous drivers with the Windows 8 Enterprise Evaluation and didn't have any issues.
