Windows 8 Apps (from different region) Updates

Scenario:

- Set location: US. Installed a bunch of apps.

- I then set my location to a different one and installed applications that aren't available on the US.

- I then set my location back to US.

Apps continue to work but my question is, how does updates work? Will I still be able to get updates from local apps when they're not available on my set location? Anyone tried this before?
