Everyone who comes in loves my room.

=]

I am just worried about things getting stolen. The people here seem nice so......

Anyways, everything is insured.

It allows you to have one maximized or full screen application open while still doing something else. For example, you could write code for a website on the left and see the results on the right. It can also be convenient for regular activities. For example, you could watch a movie or browse the web on the left and keep your media player, IM('s), or some slow task that you might want to know the progress of on the right.

so..is it like having two computers set up next to each other? or can you switch between screens?

It basially streches your desktop across onto the next one.

You can drag stuff from one to the other as if there was no devide between them at all.

How much did that desk cost you? Where did you pick it up at? I have a VERY similar desk that I retired sitting out in my garage.

    • Well I've done a grand total of nothing, and it now clocks between 2010mhz and 1995mhz (stock is 1710mhz) and hovers around 80c, warmer than it used to, but tolerable clocks seem to have returned. Thanks for all the advice on this thread. Will review the evidence and make a choice.

    • I really wonder if this has to do with the built in VPN or "private DNS" of browsers that trip up legal requirements like cookie consent and Cloudflare (to avoid all the botnet attacks we get). And BTW some botnets still manage to get past Cloudflare, we are constantly having to tweak it to block malicious traffic that ultimately cause a DDoS.
