Earlier today, I installed a bunch of updates that came through the pipes, but two of them "Microsoft - keyboard - Microsoft Hardware Keyboard" and "Microsoft - Pointing Drawing - Microsoft Hardware USB Mouse", killed the OS's keyboard and mouse drivers, and crippled my Microsoft Wireless Transceiver. It also hampered any attempts to plug in another, wired, Logitech M&Kb set. I had to restore my system to an earlier point to reverse the damages.

I'd be wary of these two updates if you see them. Just passing along the word.

I've had 2 machine in the last week that have installed an update and then refused to boot AT ALL. Rolling back the machine fixes the issue until it reboots again. Microsoft appear to have no removed the offending update, but I couldn't see which one it is.

I leave my machine for a while before updating because Windows Updates don't seem to go through a great deal of testing if you ask me :(

These 2 however have installed perfectly on my machine.

At OP:

You couldn't simply uninstall them?

I had those 2 updates also on a customers computer. Debated on installing them but I know that person DOES use a wireless mouse, so went a head and installed them. No issues what so ever on that computer and I wasn't using the wireless mouse.
