Was about to say, it might be "Windows Blue" but noticed it's only 6.2....so yeah, does seem very pointless.

no..no..no..it isn't a Winfows Blue..it's usual Windows 8 Pro with Media Center..

No idea, a glitch perhaps? I checked my laptop (running Win8 Pro with Media Center) and it hasn't done that (nor has my desktop running Win8 Pro). Maybe someone else has a better idea why this happened? but I'm completely stumped...
