if they didn't want you to hear the broadcasts they should of encrypted radio communication...newer systems can do it, but virtually no one uses it due to needing to talk to other agencies like in this case

Really? I swear there is an app on android that lets you listen into police radio feeds. TuneIn radio or somethin..
