Boston Bombing Suspects - MIT Shooting - Manhunt

Recommended Posts

This one will be a very tough case to prove, unless he admits to commiting these acts of terror! They have lots of photographic and video evidence though!

Unless both of them were really cautious i don't think this will be that hard to gather evidences. For one if they paid with their CC or debit card they already have a good proof. And they will probably find something in their app it's hard to erace all evidences.

I could not imagine the list of charges that will be brought against him if they get him alive. Honestly, I have never seen a suspect terrorist evade authorities like this in my life, especially this long!

This massive manhunt for him plus the bombing will probably be mentioned in textbooks in the future. This is possibly the longest and biggest manhunt in US history

Unibomber.... he evaded them for a good long time and on the run

Longest, it's been what, almost 24 hours since they identified the suspect publically? Maybe "biggest" but that depends on how you describe "biggest".

Bin Laden?

That was a international manhunt for the mastermind of the 9/11 attacks! This is a US manhunt! I dont understand why they dont order everyone off the streets to find him better! I correct my self, I meant to say biggest as in the amount of people looking for him!

This manhunt happening now is equivilant to all the wanted stars on GTA, which is probably a terrible comparison!

Scanner: there was a report of a male who closely matched pictures, changed clothes and dropped them into what appeared to be a hole and walked away (seen by passer by)

If this is the maximum resources they can deploy such as police, fbi, para-military etc, what else can they do to help find the suspect, declare martial law?

... Where did you find that??

my boss showed to me.. no idea where he found (imgur i believe, on the top posts)

I hate conspiracy non-sense but a few things match up here...

indeed they do!

Yeah but BTK was what, 15 years? and Zodiac they have never identified....

1974 - 1991 The only reason they caught him in 1991 is because he wanted to get caught. ;)

I know this because he lived a mile from me.

Well I read how they tracked him down, he sent a 1.44mb floppy disc to authorities with some picture or something on it, they found were able to undelete a Microsoft word doc that was deleted on the disc. The metadata in the Word file was registered to the Church he was a part of, and the last editor was his first name.

That's at least the specifics of how they found out it was him.

I was coming home listening to the radio earlier, they mentioned on CBS radio if it was even possible to declare martial law to help find the suspect, they went on to discuss if the Mass constitution could even allow that! That is extreme though, but may be actually a good option if they still cannot find him!

Martial Law is not even on the table or in the thoughts of anyone involved in this situation, it's ridiculous for the news to even mention it.

its like they the government is "suggesting" martial law, they are not telling people they have to stay inside, but are say it would be very helpful if they did.

I was listening to CBS news AM 1080, and they clearly did mention it. I really do personally agree with cbs news though, martial law could help expedite finding the suspect. I dont believe its the same martial law that was like back in the 1800s that we all picture! It could be the only option, if all else fails!

    • The memory and nvme can be swapped and upgraded with standard parts. But the GPU cannot, which is the weakest part of the box. It's a dead product at these prices.
    • Sounds like the debloated build you are running is missing some components that the Photos app and Snipping Tool rely on.

    • Apple and Tesla trade secrets reportedly exposed following a Tata Electronics cyberattack by Hamid Ganji Image via Depositphotos.com Tata Electronics has confirmed that it detected a cybersecurity incident in some of its systems. The Indian company is a manufacturing partner of both Apple and Tesla, and the incident may have exposed some trade secrets belonging to the two American companies. The World Leaks ransomware group is said to be behind the attack, and it has reportedly posted up to 200,000 files on the dark web, including component designs and specification documents related to Apple and Tesla products. Tata Electronics told Reuters that its response protocols were deployed immediately and that the “incident has had no impact on our operations across businesses, which remain unaffected.” The ransomware group reportedly sent a ransom demand to Tata Electronics, while Apple has launched an investigation into the incident. World Leaks claims it stole more than 200,000 files totaling over 630GB from Tata Electronics. Some database files on the ransomware group’s website are titled "com.apple.factorydata," which could refer to Apple’s iPhone production operations in India. Moreover, some documents reportedly contain material specifications and quality inspection standards for iPhone circuit board components. However, Apple is not the only affected company. A folder found in the World Leaks database is titled "NV36 Chargeport Controller - North America," which may refer to Tesla Model Y components. Additionally, other files in the database reportedly contain drawings related to Tesla’s Project Highland, the internal codename for the EV maker’s updated Model 3 sedan. To support the authenticity of the stolen files, World Leaks has published documents containing footers that read: "This document contains proprietary and confidential information of Apple Inc." and "information contained herein is deemed confidential, proprietary, and a trade secret of Tesla Inc." Cybersecurity researcher Rajshekhar Rajaharia told Reuters that the database also contains emails, event logs spanning several years, and passport copies of employees, including foreign nationals. Both Tesla and Apple have declined to comment on the scale of the incident.
