you have "CPU" on the performance tab, please could you add "GPU" and show us gpu utilisation and gpu memory utilisation, that would be truly awesome, it would then be better than windows 8's task manager. Currently gamers have to use 3rd party applications which is annoying. Non-gamers want this info too as we can then tell is opencl/cuda is working for applications that have support.

bug: when i choose the "details" tab and double click the boundaries of the columns to automatically change the column width to the minimum needed to display all the text it doesn't work when clicking on the right border of "name" as "flashplayerplugin_11_8_800_88..." is shown, it should say "flashplayerplugin_11_8_800_88.exe". Also when i do this to the right of "image type" the column shrinks just so that it shows 32bit or 64bit, "image type" shrinks so small that it says "Im...". This happens with cpu and memory columns, "cpu" becomes "...".

bug2: when i went from the "performance" tab to the "processes" tab it crashed, i had been using the application for a few minutes before, i can't replicate it now. Are logs saved for crashes, if so where is the log located?

Is there an English link to download the latest June 26th release?

https://mega.co.nz/#!5twDnT4R!FqSyOS469PkQJaaePK4bgRyjh11v_cxiZmtw7hoFCNo - 32bit

there is a 29th june version on their site too, only available in chinese at the moment though and no changelog.

Hello!

I just got the 26th june version.

After a few seconds, the label on the top-right of the performance chart changes to "###Kbps" from the network chart instead of 100%.

It seems to happen regardless of which display I have selected: as soon as the network chart changes the upper limit, it is reflected into the label, even if the network isn't selected.

I have no idea how to download from there. It asks for a key. How about just a Putlocker link or something?

The version from june 29 is just a chinese translation of the june 26 build, I think.

Hello Great work! :)

Please new build enable set other language (If is possible). I translate hungary lang. Thanks Gabee.

Or set Tab's name in string table and perfomance tab graph names ex.: Memory, Disk...

I want to translate task manager :D

  • 3 weeks later...

I must say that I have fallen in love with this task manager. It may not be as functional as some of the others, but dang it's easy on the eyes lol.

I did, however, experience an odd bug. After leaving the program open for quite some time monitoring network activity, it suddenly stopped reading/graphing any network data from my network adapter. I'm running on Windows 7 64 bit running the latest (0.9.1.6) alpha 64 bit version. Any ideas?

  • 2 weeks later...

Hello, I use 0.9.1.6 Alpha (June26-2013)x64 version. I choose to Run As Admin but the Title of Network is -1% everytime. In my case:

- I have wireless and ethernet but use wireless only.

- Windows 7 Pro 64bit.

Why it show Window Media Play is Not responding while it's playing well. :D

And others are many UI element in child of Task that doesn't need to show. :D

Others are OK. Great app.

Good job on creating this, very useful! :)

No issues found so far..  :)

Any way to replace the 'default' task manager with this one?

Some issues:

vtgt.png

The network background is red, should be 'darker orange', no?

gfu2.png

CPU is not reporting correctly and the network transfer speed is not correct as well

    • Lol, who still expects privacy in a facecrook-owned product these days? Let alone one that's 100% cloud hosted and doesn't function offline...
    • I stand by my "reading comprehension" statement. Every single point you bring up here I have already replied to in detail in. I am not going to spend time repeating myself to someone who isn't reading what I say. I am happy to have a conversation if you want to respond to anything I have said. I will happily admit when I am wrong if it comes to that. If you are just going to keep repeating your original claims and I have already responded to them, then it sounds like neither of us have any more to add to the conversation.
    • LG's UltraGear 32GX870A-B OLED gaming monitor hits a new low price by Paul Hill Are you in the US and looking for a top-of-the-line gaming monitor? Then be sure to check out the LG UltraGear OLED gaming monitor; it’s now discounted by 14% from its $1,400 list price, down to $1,210. This means you’ll be saving $190 if you decide to buy it now at its lowest price so far. Check out the buying link at the end of the article. If this monitor is still too high in price, there is also the 27-inch model available with a 20% discount bringing the price down to $796.99. In this piece, I will be focusing on the larger model, so be sure to double check the details of the 27-inch model separately for differences. If you were thinking about buying this as a Father’s Day gift, it is not going to arrive in time with standard delivery; however, you can get a Prime member trial to get it in time. 4K 240Hz or FHD 480Hz? One of the big features with the LG UltraGear OLED gaming monitor is the VESA-certified Dual Mode. It lets you select 4K Ultra-HD at 240Hz for graphically rich games where you want to see all the details or Full HD (1080p) at 480Hz for fast-paced titles. If you’re in a single-player game and want to take in all the details, the first option will be best. If you’re playing an intense multiplayer shooter, then the second option will be better to reduce lag further. Speaking of lag, this monitor supports an impressive 0.03ms GtG response time and has AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and is also Nvidia G-Sync compatible. This should ensure the monitor works well with both Nvidia and AMD graphics cards. OLED visuals and gaming experience Other notable features of this LG gaming monitor are its VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification, 275 nits typical and 1,300 nits peak brightness. With all this, the monitor can render deep blacks, vivid colors, and bright highlights, delivering a superior HDR viewing experience that is especially beneficial for gaming and cinematic content in low-light environments. It features an impressive 1.5M:1 contrast ratio, an anti-glare, low reflection OLED screen, has built-in speakers and DTS Headphone:X support via 4-pole headphone jack, and it has an ergonomic stand with height, tilt, swivel, and pivot adjustments. While the “bass-driven” built-in speakers are nice for a basic setup, serious gamers, who this monitor is aimed at, will likely have a more comprehensive sound setup in place anyway that outperforms what this monitor provides. In terms of connectivity, the LG UltraGear OLED has two HDMI 2.1 ports and USB Type-C (65W power delivery). The DP 2.1 ports deliver ultra-fast data speeds for high refresh rate gameplay, helping to reduce lag and get the edge in competitive games. Finally, there is another feature called Switch App that turns your screen into a multitasking hub for work, gaming, and streaming. It lets you create up to 6 sections, customize the layouts, or launch video calls with one hotkey. This allows you to easily switch between your PC and the in-built webOS streaming platform using shortcuts. Is the LG 32GX870A-B worth it? The LG UltraGear OLED definitely offers standout features that help to justify the price, namely the up to 480Hz refresh rate. Other features like VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification will also make the games you play look more accurate color-wise and if you don’t already have speakers, the monitor provides a “bass-driven” speaker setup for at least decent baseline audio. If you are a serious gamer, this monitor deserves consideration given the discount, it’s also at its lowest-ever price, so you’re not paying over the odds. If you still want a good monitor, but don’t want to pay as much, check out the 27-inch model. LG UltraGear OLED 32-inch: $1,209.14 (Amazon US) / MSRP $1,399.99 LG UltraGear OLED 27-inch: $796.99 (Amazon US) / MSRP $999.99 This Amazon deal is US-specific and not available in other regions unless specified. • The concept of ghost writers has existed for centuries; they don't get disclosed. I'm not sure this is different. In both cases the true author has agreed to do the work without being publicly credited. Don't get me wrong, I find the entire thing disgusting. Perhaps we agree but have slightly different standards for what the word "shady" means.
    • Nvidia GeForce NOW gains support for Dune: Awakening, The Alters, and more by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Nvidia's GeForce NOW cloud gaming service brings support for a new selection of games every Thursday, and the latest weekly drop has just revealed itself. The latest games supported by the service include hits like Dune: Awakening, highly anticipated indies like The Alters and Kingdom Two Crows, and much more. Aside from the new games, Nvidia has just kicked off a brand-new sale for its 24-hour pass program. Available only for its Performance tier of GeForce NOW, this latest 1-day membership pass discount offers 1440p resolution streams with features like ray tracing and DLSS for 40% off. Don't forget that the GeForce NOW 40% off sale for the six-month subscription is still active too, with Nvidia cutting the price of the Performance membership until July. Here are the games announced for the program this week: Frosthaven Demo (New release on Steam, June 9) Dune: Awakening (New release on Steam, June 10) MindsEye (New release on Steam, June 10) Kingdom Two Crowns (New release on Xbox, available on PC Game Pass, June 11) The Alters (New release on Steam and Xbox, available on PC Game Pass, June 13) Lost in Random: The Eternal Die (New release on Steam and Xbox, June 13, available on PC Game Pass, June 17) Firefighting Simulator – The Squad (Xbox, available on PC Game Pass) JDM: Japanese Drift Master (Steam) Hellslave (Steam) Last week, Nvidia also revealed some highlights from what's coming throughout June. This includes FBC: Firebreak, the Borderlands trilogy, Rematch, and much more. The company has a tendency to add many more games to its cloud gaming service outside of these early announcements, so check back as weeks go by to see what's new. As always though, keep in mind that unlike subscription services like Game Pass, a copy of a game must be owned by the GeForce NOW member (or at least have a license via PC Game Pass) to start playing via Nvidia's cloud servers.
