Hi Joseph! Glad you like the skin! I've also made versions in pink, purple, and green - yet they're not available for download yet as I have submitted them to the Best Today Screen Contest being held by the makers of Wisbar Advance 2 and PocketBreeze. The finalists will be announced December 5th, and then people will vote for the winning top three skins, the grand prize of which is a new Dell Axim! Anyway, can you tell I'm a little excited? :D :p

So it may be another month before I can release these skins. I do have a bunch of other skin sets I've posted on my website in the past few days though!

I think the vote starts next year & skin submitting dead line has been extended.

I'll definitely vote for you because that theme is my favorite VS too! (Y) :jump:

How do you get a new theme into a pocket pc? I just got a Dell Axim x50v.

You can use Microsoft Power toys for basic color change and other simple stuff.

However, I strongly recommend Wisbar for the skinning, as well as task management, it has good themes such as Royale, SoulLuna, or Code Opus as shown above.

can anybody helpme uloading the default wallpaper of your IPAQ please? i need this one...

All the PDA's I have played with that have PPC 2003 do not have this theme, it seems to be a 2002 theme it is just they want to tease us with it. I have found a similar theme on www.pocketpcthemes.com ( I think  )

Yes, I think that is the default theme for PPC 2002, but did find an extended version (has extra stuff built-in for SPB Pocket Plus in addition to the Today screen shown in your screenshot) from the link given above (pocketpcthemes.com) - I'm attaching it here in case you haven't had a chance to find it yet!

Hope everyone had a good Christmas!! Here's my latest screenshot - I've been using the same one for several days now without switching, which is very unusual for me! But it's available for downloading from my website if anyone is interested. The WisbarAdvance 2.0 skin is called SeaMist, and the TodayTheme is called MistyTrees-Blue.

Now that the finalists have been announced for the Best Today Screen Contest, I can safely release the skins I submitted that didn't make the final cut.  They're all available on my website!

Yours should win, it's obviously the most sensible of all those themes...

I think it's reasonable to ask a few people who appreciate your theme to go to that site and vote for you. You deserve it, for your work.

Thanks for the compliment! Definitely, if you like my themes please vote for me, that would be great! :D I actually have two skins in the contest: one the pink version of CodeOpus, the other RoyaleRedux.

Do you have regular XP msstyles versions of these Codename Opus mods and are you allowed to share them with others? I'd like to try them.

Sorry, but I only had permission to port them to the PocketPC - although I do like the pink version and may someday try to create a regular XP msstyles, but since I've never created one before it may be a long ways off :p

:o b0se won't let you make a regular msstyle version of your color mods? :pinch: Or do we still need to actually ask him personally ourselves?

:D Actually it didn't even occur to me at the time to ask about porting my color variations to the msstyles format - I was only focused on the PocketPC stuff! I just assumed if I wanted to create a msstyles version I should get his permission. I think I need to look into how to get started in creating one though, I've never worked on any before!

    • I really wonder if this has to do with the built in VPN or "private DNS" of browsers that trip up legal requirements like cookie consent and Cloudflare (to avoid all the botnet attacks we get). And BTW some botnets still manage to get past Cloudflare, we are constantly having to tweak it to block malicious traffic that ultimately cause a DDoS.
    • CPPC states can also be messed around with in most UEFI settings but aren't as robust as the ones that the Windows Scheduler can provide! Make sure you look into what your motherboard also has before customizing for the Windows Scheduler.
