I cancelled my Amazon pre-order that I've had since last year, and I got the Digital Guardian Edition on PSN. Pre-loaded and ready for Tuesday! Too bad I have to work. Lame.

AB, you should check out Datto's youtube channel for Destiny coverage. His videos are pretty good. I'm sure you can get a good idea of the co-op gameplay and classes from his videos.

Well I'm definitely excited to get started. I decided to get the Digital Guardian Edition, so I am downloaded and ready to go, just waiting for Bungie to flip the switch Monday night.

The beta gave me enough of a taste to know that I will get plenty of hours in this game. Hopefully, I can recruit a good group of players to work through the campaign.

trooper, did you download list or "related items" for Destiny include anything about the DLC pass? I can see the vanguard armory in the "related items" list for Destiny, but I don't see the DLC pass anywhere.

it does list the two expansion packs that will be part of that dlc pass, they just can't be queued for download obviously. It lists those things on the product page before going through the order process and when I go back to that page, it reflects that I already own it.

About to pull the trigger on the limited edition at ?62 as I'll get the season pass.

Doing a bit of reading and the co-op intrigues me as people are saying Halo/Borderlands cross.

Should I do it? Also can someone give me a brief rundown of the classes, want to see if my playstyle would fit one better than another. Thanks

These are the three classes, each has two subclasses I believe which give different abilities.

Glad I pre-ordered and pre-downloaded this on Xbox One, the definitive edition. I am so excited for tomorrow!

this is not intended as flame bait but the Xbox One is not the Definitive edition the PS4 version is. or at least as stated by bungie it is anyway.

I would be interested to see why you think that? PS4 has the COD like DLC exclusives, probably map packs first and no doubt when DF do an analysis even with both at 1080p the PS4 will probably run better.

Like it or not, Destiny does have a lot going for it on the PS4.

I'm deciding between Titan or Warlock.

I think that because of my preference for the controller, the online service, the parity graphics, and of course....the DLC is only time exclusive, so really, it's the one to get.

Don't worry, yours is the better version

I'm sure you guys will race to make a post with the DF analysis.

So its your preferred version, not some generalization. Everyone gets to decide for themselves.

stopped by the store on my way home from work and picked up my release group sticker (kind of like a boarding pass for a plane) i will show up a few minutes before midnight and still be one of the first 10 people to get mine. Also snagged a lanyard, bracelet an a few posters, i wonder if they will have more tonight.

The opening is unchanged from the beta, which is annoying because it just drops you into the game, but good because the opening video is awesome (In the "inspires awe" meaning).

Funny "bug", because I had previously redeemed codes posted here, along with the codes in the box, when I got to the city I got given a bunch of duplicate stuff. Meaning I now have 3 ghost casings, 2 sparrows, 2 arcadia jump ships and another limited jumpship, along with 3 emblems.

    • Well I've done a grand total of nothing, and it now clocks between 2010mhz and 1995mhz (stock is 1710mhz) and hovers around 80c, warmer than it used to, but tolerable clocks seem to have returned. Thanks for all the advice on this thread. Will review the evidence and make a choice.

    • I really wonder if this has to do with the built in VPN or "private DNS" of browsers that trip up legal requirements like cookie consent and Cloudflare (to avoid all the botnet attacks we get). And BTW some botnets still manage to get past Cloudflare, we are constantly having to tweak it to block malicious traffic that ultimately cause a DDoS.
