Someone please confirm this. I'm getting goosebumps :p

Their official line on PC so far is "We haven't said yes, and we haven't said no." This quote also makes it sound like they'll have something to announce regarding PC later:

"The more platforms we take on, the more work it ultimately becomes, and what we don?t want is to compromise the core experience on any platforms. We have a lot of people who play on PCs. We have a lot of appetite to build that experience. We haven?t announced it yet, but we?re looking forward to talking more about that kind of stuff in the future."[/size]

I'm interested because it's being made by Bungie Studios. The game looks unique for the most part and the graphics look better than Titanfall.

I'd disagree on that but I haven't been following Destiny as closely so whatever works.

Destiny looks more like 'slightly improved last gen' instead of next gen.  Very colorful and I do like the unique visual designs, though.

I guess we'll see :)

That's trademark Bungie style. They may not always hit to the highest graphic fidelity but it is mostly because of their obsession with larger maps and a colorful world (against likes of Gears or Kill Zone).

Seeing as both next gen consoles are x86 based and the nature of the OS on the Xbox one, porting would be a lot less difficult across platforms than the current gen.

It's also because they're doing last gen and next gen...I don't expect those releases to be vastly different on the varied consoles.

True for coding, but you still have to deal with legacy OS/32 bit OS support (or hopefully they stop dealing with them,) average spec machines (which are claimed to be quite poor, who knows) and a lot more hardware variety.

Ok, I've had this question for many games when this transition period between consoles comes up, so I'll just apply it to Destiny specifically:

What differences will there be between this gen of Xbox 360/PS3 versus the Xbox One/PS4 versions? Obviously graphics will be better, but will there be a huge difference, a next-gen noticeable graphics upgrade? Also, anything gameplay wise? Larger worlds / more interactive and physics or what?

I assume the biggest if not only difference will be graphics. Physics might be a little different as well, but I'm sure it's all running on the same engine so there's only so much that can be different. They haven't released any specifics about the differences between generations other than they are very happy to be working on the PS4 and will probably have some extras for it.

I'm interested as well and hope the next genners don't suffer because they wanted to release on this generation of consoles as well.

For games that are on this gen AND next gen I wouldn't expect them to have significant differences outside of the graphics.  Vehicle/physics handling, world density and AI processes might be improved, but that depends on Bungie.

I hope world density is increased, just for 'looks' too, and obviously graphics. I am really hoping for maybe like an extra 'feature' in some form of gameplay, similar to how Battlefield 4 will have 64 player games next gen while this generation's version will remain at 24 player.

Added %WindowsSystem% variable support. Improved clipboard clearing using native Windows APIs. Improved installer experience on unsupported Windows versions. Reduced installer size and improved application robustness. Fixed Unicode handling, filename anonymization, Git revision reporting, and splash screen stability. • DriversCloud 12.1.6 by Razvan Serea With DriversCloud (formerly My-Config.com), you can explore your computer easily, safely and free. The application quickly scans your PC and identifies the hardware and software components. DriversCloud then establishes a list of the different drivers compatible with your OS and hardware. Download the drivers needed for the proper functioning of your computer. To detect your drivers, DriversCloud also displays a detailed summary of your hardware and software configuration, analyzes your BSOD, monitors in real-time your PC voltages and temperatures and lets you share your configuration online. Once the hardware components have been detected, you will be able to obtain with just a few clicks the latest drivers corresponding to the identified hardware. You can record your configuration on the site for free, and can get the corresponding URL to post the configuration to technical forums, e-mail and social networks. You can also download the detection result (the configuration) as a PDF file. To protect the user's privacy and data confidentiality, a 4-level confidentiality system was created that filters the XML marks and gives control to the user. The default level can be modified in the preferences. Using the maximum level will prevent the user from publishing his configuration and generating a corresponding PDF file. In non-connected mode, each XML configuration is stored on the server for one day (for practical reasons). However, you are given the opportunity to manually delete it. Created in 2004, and continually improved, My-Config.com has established itself on the web as a free service to PC users running Windows and Linux operating systems. The service is designed to work with the most common Internet browsers (Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Safari).
