Youtube links not becoming video

Edit: I didn't add any tags to it and it went through just fine. Are you using IE10?

 

Also, make sure you're grabbing the share url from underneath the video. By default the one in the URL bar is secure (https:) and won't post.

I'm using Chrome - 29.0.1541.0 dev-m

 

I see that you added the video with an address of http://youtu.be/
I tried to add it with the normal http://www.youtube.com/ address. Always worked.

What about the others? On my screen, none of them recieved a hero's welcome....

I mean none of those are working, they're just links

 

You mean even the one I posted? I see them fine.

 

Edit: If you're speaking of just your post, yes they're all just links.

Why does it work for me and not you?

 

I haven't a clue, I quoted marshall (when he copied one of my links) and it worked,

when I try to post url, embed, or share... I get the link only... not sure what I'm doing wrong....

Members don't seem to have permission to use the media tag, but I can't find where that is determined (Neobond on test account)

No Alternate (Dupe) Accounts.

Should you be disciplined with a restriction or ban, you are not allowed to open a new account to obtain freedom to post. Restrictions and bans are given for a reason, and usurping that ability by re-registering is not tolerated. If another account is opened, that account will be banned immediately, and the original account will be further penalized. Anyone who has warnings on their account is automatically excluded from changing their user name.

 

Sorry Boss, couldn't pass up that opportunity.
