Recurve is so good, im not gonna change from it for quite a while.

I think i might say this here, cos whenever I email Bant he doesnt reply. I modded Recurve (made some changes here and there, some major, some minor), and I wish to share it. Unfortunately, I cant get Bant's permission to upload it to the site (NB: Bant, I have been emailing you for a while now...).

So I might just ask here... anyone want my *update*?

Well, its not too major a change, just some things i wanted to edit.

(MAJOR) :o

? I made the start menu a bit biger, and, also, i believe i fixed it in a way that it should always work.

? Checkboxes and Radiobuttons have been overhauled. They were sort of confusing, so i fixed them.

? New color scheme - Red (seen below)

(MINOR:happy:py:

? Color changes here and there (eg: start button, some start menu colors, varous glyphs and buttons...)

? New Program application button, Taskband Flash buttons and GroupMenu Flash buttons made to look like the "teeth" in the FrameCaption Bar

? Slider Track is now grey

? Scroll Arrows and Combo Arrows now have color in them

There's plenty more, i just dont feel like listing everything...

(SHELLSTYLES)

? Just fixed some problems with the hue of certain images (eg: the folder images in orange were, well... orange...)

I guess it's just ultimately an update, nothing extremely major at all. Still, I reckon Recurve's better with the changes than wi:pout. :p

Again, i cant distribute it without bant's permission. It is, after all, his style, and he can do what he wants with it. So if you want it, you need to try and get Bant on the ban:cool:

bant doesnt get on bandwagons. and doesnt really appreciate people posting screenshots of their modifications of his themes in his threads. he told me.

he also mumbled something about people need to just be happy with what he gives them, or make their own damn themes...i kind of agree...

Is it me or is your "red" kind of pinkish?

lol what a joke, the theme is great and everything, i just dont get why you wont let other people mod the damn thing if your not going to do it. Some of us dont know how to use the program to edit it, and also dont have the time to do it so why not just let some people that do have the time mod it and release it, how does this hurt you in anyway?? Anyways too bad, that mod does look good, ;)

its my theme, im happy with it the way it is. if you arent happy with it, dont use it.

the reason i dont want people releasing mods of my themes is because a theme loses its originality if everybody is releasing their own little versions of it, especially since 99% of people have absolutely no taste, and no theming ability. so what we would be left with is a bunch of crap mods of a theme that would have been perfectly fine had it been left alone.

you dont like what i create, use somebody elses, or hey, make your own ****ing themes. come up with something original.

i dont plan on any more colors.

You can modify it, just don't release it at all. For yourself only. :)

Well i actually am very sorry for the way you feel, as if your better than everyone else, i did state in some of the first posts that i like the theme, so please try to not insult anyone by saying or insinuating that you have "better taste" than everyone else. I do have some of you themes and they are great, but as alot of people have mention, there are little things that need to be fixed, so if you are not going to do it, why not let someone else do it, let someone else have fun with your so called "originality". I just dont see it that way, i know is your theme and i dont want to thrived so much on that, i just would like it if someone was able to do a small mod, now im not on anyone side because is not a matter of taking sides, is a matter of being courteus, many people like your themes, but your so called originality becomes boring after so many days, so why not let the theme "keep going" by someone modding it here and there.

lol and who doesnt have good taste, i mean look at the mod this kid is posting here, it obviously looks a whole lot better than the original, sorry but i think is you who lacks alittle more "taste" in theming. I hope the mods dont take this as trolling because is not, is just an opinion regarding the theme. Another thing im alittle curious is how is it that themers can say very blunt what they feel, but if i start to use such expressions as the "great Bant" here i will be warned or categorized as trolling? anyways il save that for later, Bant thanks for taking the time out to read the post :p ...
