Well, today is overcast, but made my mind stray back to 1989.

 

I travelled 4 miles from my home to Oxford Street London visited a huge music shop and purchased on cassette, The Stone Roses, by The Stone Roses.

 

I listened to it until I got off in Lordship Lane at the Police Station stop East Dulwich.

 

The tape finished, I applauded out loud.

 

When asked why I seemed mad I explained and others applauded, as they too knew how great this album cassette was.

 

So today I put it on, windows open and sung every word.

 

One of the top 5 albums ever.

I cannot overstate how much I enjoy this song. The blue spotlights in the video are very calming.
