Hmm you couldn't be more wrong. There's ton of proof of evolution. Use google...

Or just read the link I gave lol

Evolution is a faith, you have to believe in it, it can not be proved. There is no evidence at all of evolution, most of what we are made to believe is based on elaborate assumption. I chose to believe in a loving God and Creator, you chose otherwise...

Projection much ? Considering your hero's stamen about biblical glasses and ignoring all evidence.

The Evolutionist basically believe in something that only to a very small extent can explained by science but has giant holes in the theory and can never be proved either.

There's probably billions of examples of evolution, but just for the sake of choosing the easiest one, Google "evolution of birds in Hawaii" or "evolution of animals in Galapagos"....

What the actual eff?! You're kidding, right? We have *plenty* of evidence to support evolution. It in fact, can and has been proven. Much of out modern day medicine would not exist without it. How do you explain strains of bacteria becoming resistant to medication?

Worse, the theory of evolution is tied to other scientific theories! How do you explain *million years old* fossils? How do you explain earthquakes? How do you explain evidence to support that Earth's continents have moved position since being created billions of years ago? How do you explain evidence to support climate change? How do you explain that when we gaze up into the sky, we don't see a "god" creating new stars, new planets, and eventually new life, but gravity, accretion, fusion, etc.... All these things tie into and support evolution. Nothing stays the same, ever. Nothing.

I have seen those before.  Not sure why your showing that.  You must be getting something from that I am not.  Like I said theres no doubt that things evolve.  But nothing about evolution can explain "how we got here" with any kind of proof.  I am just saying you cant call one side an idiot for believing in something that your side cant prove either.

Nothing can *prove* how we got here, no. But we can look elsewhere for clues on how it may have happened. Astronomy is a very big player in that. When we look to the skies with Hubble, we can see other solar systems being created... not by a god, but by gravity bounding material together, those materials eventually accrete into a star, planets, and eventually other matter - for example, comets, which deliver water and other organic compounds to these newly formed planets, which then can plant the seeds of life. Search for "panspermia".

While the scientists don't 100% agree on how life started on earth, they all agree that we evolved from monkeys and that the earth is much more than 6 thousand years old. Those two should be enough to prove any religious goer wrong. The rest is just bonus.

That's because it doesn't address that question and never attempts to.

For deliberately ignoring evidence we can. They proudly proclaim their rejection of any evidence that contradicts the creation modal.

Correction. .No scientists claim we evolved from monkeys, and never have.  Evidence shows that humans AND monkeys (and apes) all evolved from the same common ancestor, which was pre-primate.  It was not a monkey.

As is typical of theists who don't know what they're talking about, you're confusing evolution with abiogenesis.  Evolution is nothing more than the mechanism by which organisms change over time, usually into more complex organisms.  Abiogenesis is the field of study that tries to understand how life itself actually started.

If you're going to try to refute something, it generally helps to educate yourself on the topic. Why do you think atheists as so good at argument against their counterparts?

Well really that is stretching it a tad there Dot.  Plate tectonics has nothing to do with the Theories of Evolution and Survival of the Fittest.  They were two different theories. 1 explained the mechanism  evolution, and the second in how those traits passed on.

If you want to tie everything together without using String Theory,  Thermodynamic is a much better discipline to use than Evolution.

I class Dark Matter / Energy / Force, and the big bang theory under the iffy science category. It's basically all theoretical. Some might argue that DM is a mathematical fudge to account for the mysterious force called gravity (we don't even know what creates / causes it). The problem is that people treat it as real science, when it's really not. Our current models of gravitation and the universe don't work, so physicists are adopting the climate science technique of changing the data, and inventing imaginary forces.

Not so much, I don't think. With plate tectonics, comes climate change. For example, Antarctica wasn't always under ice, and Manhattan wasn't always temperate. It used to be a desert, at one point in time, etc...

But thermodynamics can account for all of the energy exchanges that had to happen during each of those events, and the overarching conversion/conservation of Energy.

While Evolution (the theory of) certainly doesn't explain the actual start of life, it does make a lot of sense when you take a look around at all the variety. Not only that, but on microscopic level, we can actually see the changes in generations of bacteria and viruses. That's pretty compelling evidence for the theory.

I don't see any evidence provided by religion or Ham, only a book written and revised by men over hundreds of years. It doesn't explain anything. It only alludes to a supernatural being who decided to create everything on a whim. Hardly compelling is it?

And if there is such a loving God and Creator, why would he create deadly viruses, bacteria, parasites, natural disasters, or even man himself? After all, man is the biggest killer of life and habitat that has ever existed. Animals never sinned as Ham frequently likes to say man did, yet they're still punished by all those things.

There is plenty of evidence for evolution, choosing not to believe in it does not make the evidence just disappear. But if you want to claim that evidence doesn't exists, by all means disprove the evidence you claim doesn't exist.  FYI creation and evolution are two entirely different topics.

    • I asking where you are from or live, because if you don't live in the U.K, why are you so bothered? That is another reason I voted out, E.U and people poking their noses in where they should not be. Sadly we still have it, Trump, and his cronies. Putin as well and no doubt others. It makes no difference what we believe, if we made the right choice or not, we are out. As I said to someone when the news first broke we have voted out, we just need to make the best of it. I have no problems with closer ties to the E.U, we still need to trade. Just don't want to be in their club.
    • So you think I voted out because i am anti-immigrant. I am fed up with those that come over and think that we owe them something. The ones that are at the moment coming over from France where they are already in a safe country because they think and no doubt will get everything chucked at them. While people who were born and bred here get very little. I have nothing against as i have said before those that come here and work. In fact I know full well that our NHS would struggle without them. I do have a problem with those that come over here and try to push their religion and their way of life onto us. My reasons for voting out was because of what the E.U is and is also becoming. I did not agree with Freedom of movement, not because I don't want people over here, but because people need to be checked before being allowed to cross borders and that goes both ways. But my main thing was because the E.U is becoming if not already a united states of Europe. The only reason countries like Poland and Romania joined was because they had no money. When my partner left Poland, she had nothing, Poland had nothing, that is why she left. Wanted to learn something and earn a living. The E.U would have us back according to Michel Barnier. https://www.euronews.com/my-eu...ator-barnier-tells-euronews Why are you so scared to say what country you are in?
    • I wonder what that line really meant...
