OK, this is weird.  I was going to add you to the preview program and I found Phil J W but I couldn't find you.  I went ahead and added Phil then went to my friends list.  You weren't there.  So then I did a search for you and your card came up but I couldn't send a friend request because it showed you were already a friend.  Go back to my friends list and you're still not there.  The problem is I have to use that program to add you and it only populates from my friends list, which you're not in.

 

Maybe I'll give it till this afternoon to see if it just needed some time.

 

Edit:  OK, after typing this I went to xbox.com to check from there and it shows this:

I'm not sure why it says 360...

 

Can you try adding me from the Xbox One?  It's Ironman273.

Weird that's where I added you. I got on the xbox one and added you where it said you recently added me

Recently its come to my attention that people can invite others to participate in the preview program. I have no idea how the original people were selected but I obviously was not. If someone could invite me that would awesome. Thanks. GT: Phil J W[/size]

ok so I have not gotten in yet. Can anyone else try and add me to see if it bugs out like it did with Ironman please? 

I did manage to add you and send you the invite.  When I send it it does say that they will send you the invite shortly, but I don't know what sort of time frame that is.

      It won't perform hugely better than the 3080 unless you're VRAM limited in games. Have you tried putting new thermal pads on them 3080 and giving it a good clean to see if you can regain your temps and overclock?

      Windows 95 offered the ability to add and edit the right click menus, on a per file type basis. This feature seems to be missing in the new file explorer. Are they bringing it back as a "new" feature?

      It's nearly time to replace my aging Founders Edition 3080, it doesn't OC as nicely as it used to and it's running around 10c warmer than it did when I first bought it.  I don't have budget for much more than what I spent on the 3080 and locally, that means the best GPU I can manage is a 9070XT. On this basis I have a few questions: 1. At present I don't use ray tracing, if this was to change, would this GPU be an issue? 2. How does it compare on a performance basis? 3. Are the drivers worse or better than those for nVidia? 4. Linux support, is it there? 5. Anything else I should be aware of if I were to make this change? 6. Is it a good idea or shall I try and keep the 3080 a little longer.
