spaceelf
Well... That sure went well didn't it... It's actually true, considering. A lot of kids have parents or siblings who use guns, so not knowing how to safely use them could lead to some grand accidents. I've never wanted to hunt or use guns in my life, but I did go to a safety class when I was 9 or sommat.
DocM
And this was one accident, of a very rare kind, out of of millions of kids who regularly go to ranges, hunt etc. More people are killed on bicycles etc. than by accidental shootings. Perspective, US Centers for Disease Control, Injury deaths: 60.2/100,000 Poisoning deaths: 14.8/100,000 Vehicle deaths:10.8/100,000 Firearm deaths (total): 10.4/100,000 Firearm suicides: 6.4/100,000 Firearm deaths (non-suicide): 4/100,000 (murder, justified & accidental)
