cdiamond
Does anyone have DLL patcher for XP SP2 yet? I haven't been able to find one. I wish MS would just allow all themes to work. THANKS!
AQUaDeX
lol it's a little bit too early for that, it's not even out for legit beta testers yet
cdiamond
I have it installed. It is on the Beta test site. Hoping someone releases a patch quick.

emtp563
I patched your .dll for SP2. Post back here if it works o.k. There is no reason why it shouldn't uxtheme.dll
cdiamond
emtp563, the dll didn't work. When I tried to change styles, I got a dll error. Plus it only comes up as classic mode.

y_notm
your best bet for a quick fix may be to grab the uxtheme.dll that was backed up (if you chose to back up your files when installing the SP, usually to %windir%\system\$NTServicePackUninstall$, dropping it into system32, and seeing if it works. I can't see much functionality being changed to the skin service

whip
what about the uxtheme.dll for sp2 for build 1215 (i think thats the latest one before the beta1)?
tomwarren Veteran Posted December 19, 2003 Veteran Share Posted December 19, 2003 I know Vorte[x] patched all the alpha SP's. I'll ask him when i see him again if he can do this one. I think they've made it a little harder though this time around.
Bizkit
I would also like to see this. I am not in a big hurry for it, but it would be nice. I kind of wish that Microsoft would release another visual style in the service pack.
Bizkit
You can try this one. Could someone make a .bat file for everyone to replace this one really easy with? Thanks! uxtheme.dll
ANova
I think they've made it a little harder though this time around. Perfect example why I do not like MS as a company. They're always doing crap like this. And they have very little to gain from it.
mm3h
It P1sses me off to see MS doing this I mean why does it bother them that people are changing there VS big wow its still there OS lol
