Currently on Spectrum's 300/10 tier. Frontier went down my road laying fiber 1 1/2 months or so ago. Just waiting on them to  light it up , so I can try that.

Docsis 4 is needed for symmetrical speeds. I only know of one provider and that was back in December of last year. I think most other cable providers are still 3.1.

It's always been around 20ish for upload. We have Cable Internet. From Spectrum.

In the future, I want to move to fiber, but I don't really need it.

Are you asking me why the upload so low? I only have 10 Mbps upload and that's what I'm getting and all Spectrum offers on my plan.

The quotes are confusing me on who is replying to who? Imagine that, I'm confused!!

See who he quoted? After each quote he asked a question. Sort of easy to figure out.

I believe he merged his 2 posts. Forum does that if it's within like 5 minutes of each other.

$35 /month, quite happy with it, especially since in 2012 I was paying $65 /month for 24 Down / 6 Up on Uverse.

Finally got FTTP (rural location), I don't really need 900Mbps download but had to get that package to get the 110Mbps upload which I do need. I'd have preferred something like 300/300 given the choice but won't complain too much considering I was on 15 down / 4 up before this

Apparently they're upgrading to 10gig down/1gig up later this year so will most likely be taking that when it's an option but 6 months after moving to an area with actual decent internet and I still appreciate every moment coming from 60 down/8 up just before that. (for 7 years)

Ping could be better but I'm having to run via wifi being rented so pretty likely down to that.

It's kinda hard to find test servers that will keep up in the UK :) Connection via Netomnia (YouFibre) I need to get round to swapping in my new Asus BE-98 Home router to really take advantage but not one to do whilst people are working from home!

The old Router was obviously CPU limited and restricting the internet speed slightly, the new one obviously doesn't suffer the same thing!
