Man, as time goes on these collectors editions are getting insane,  ranging in price from $100 to $250!

I'm a gamer and so on but heck no, $60 is more than enough for a game, maybe I'm not hardcore though.

Yeah CE's are never worth it anymore. Unless you really want it and have the cash.

The coolest thing I've seen so far is the custom XBox controller website. That is a great idea, I'd expect Sony to follow.

 

As far as Xbox vs PlayStation goes, I'd rather own a PS4 in '16 and '17 (I already own both) but I'd rather buy stock in MS. The Xbox-Windows partnership is going to be a very strong advantage that is exclusive to MS.

Even for people that have the money most of us are adults now, and the vast majority of these items I can't show off in my house and they look tacky as hell aimed at mostly teenagers bedroom. Hopefully by the time I have a theatre room where I could put theses without the misses going haywire we'll see some nice designs.

Controllers look great, will kill a ton of 3rd party controller makers, I expect Microsoft to start adding professional gamers custom controllers to the site that third parties usually developed in the past. Would rather see Sony develop a more premium controller like the elite, even the normal one feels cheap compared to my xbox one controllers. Shrink the light bar, turn it off for games not required, larger battery etc..
