How about including some stuff like JV16 PowerTools has about cleaning Start Up Items and Advanced Uninstall Stuff?

The download still says it version 105 instead of 106?

Is the download actually version 1.0.6.048?

Is this program compatible with otther windows out there.

Yup, it's compatible with all versions of Windows from 98/NT4 onwards.

Not sure why the website hasn't updated, try a refresh, as I updated it this morning. :huh:

Glad you like it. It's fast because I focused on speed rather than flashy interfaces, splash screens etc. ;)

Hmm... have you removed the right-click -> fix all item in the registry cleaner? Right click doesn't do anything anymore :( Also, would it be possible to have a more accurate progress bar? I don't like how it keeps starting again as the program scans the registry - theres no way of knowing how long it's going to take! It's hard to explain, but I'd rather that when it gets to the right hand side it's complete.

Hmmm... strange.... no haven't removed it, I'll look into that one.

Good point about the progress bar, it worked fine when the progress took a couple of seconds, now it's scanning more stuff it tends to loop a bit. ;)

Weird - the right click menu in the registry cleaner works ok on my Win2000 machine...?

Could you also add a progress bar for when CCleaner is fixing the registry problems - if there's alot and you choose 'Fix All' there's nothing to say whats going on and some people might think that the program has frozen.

Any more progress with having CCleaner as a single executable? I'd love to be able to run it from my new USB Flash Drive. I tried copying the folder over as suggested, but I get a 'Run-time error 429, ActiveX component can't create object' error when I try to run it. Is there anything I could add to the folder to enable the program to run?

Btw, great work so far - I really like the program. It just needs a little 'fine tuning' to make it great! :)

I doubled checked the right-click issue and it worked fine on my test machines. So not quite sure what's wrong. Anyone else noticed this problem?

A single executable is still a plan, although not in the immediate future. (Unless everyone thinks it's essential ;))

You can manually install it by copying all the files in the Program files\CCleaner folder onto the new machine and registering all the OCXs.

Ok, it does work - I just didn't realise that you had to actually right-click one of the items for the menu to appear - I was just right-clicking in the empty space!

Sure, just setup a batch file to do:

regsvr32 filename.ocx

then uninstall with

regsvr32 /u filename.ocx

Im using KoL's Smooth Stripes 4 VS, but it does it with some others too. Once I set CCleaner to the Standard or Flat style, the text was fine so no major problem, but possibly something for the next update?

:) No probs. Ran a few tests with that theme and had similar problems, just in different places (which is a bit odd).

But a few spacing tweaks seems to have fixed it. I'll post an update shortly.
