It happens, and it's not like SpaceX has any control over the weather ...

Give 'em time. ;) They'll figure that one out eventually too.

 I see what they want their crews to exercise next .. rapid turnaround. Procedures, etc. Makes sense.

With launches on the 17th at KSC, the 25th at Vandenberg, and about July 1 at KSC again they'd better get used to rapid turnarounds. With the X-37B launch added on we could be looking at 4 SpaceX launches in August, which is nuts.

July is gonna be busy too. Not as busy, but still. They're gonna be shipping stuff in, and getting LC-40 ready. Then the "all stop" on 39-A for the upgrades ... Then FH's debut after that. Then the Dragon 2 test flight at the end of the year. All the while coordinating the big project at Boca Chica and Brownsville, and the R&D on ITS Junior and ITS itself ...

The next ten years are busy.

So far the June 17th launch date is holding, and the Iridium NEXT #2 launch on the 25th is at Vandenberg so no conflict there. They also have more than one launch team.

Once all four facilities are going; LC-39A, LC-40, Vandenberg and Texas, and with each launching just once a month, we could see a  launch a week. And that's assuming they don't build or lease a fifth pad.

Launch slips to Monday, June 19

Weather was only 40%.

Yeah: launch on Monday, Iridium NEXT #2's static fire on Tuesday, and Iridium NEXT #2 launches on Sunday. Helluva week.

And, Intelsat-35e on July 1 (though it may need to slip slightly.) How's that for a launch rate?  :woot:
