They got the colors wrong by the looks of it, but I think they did a good job overall.

I think a coloring might look a little off because the lighting isn't exactly 1:1 like it was back on TNG.   Yeah we have more lights but they're also not as bright as on TNG sets.  They're still a bit lower.   Honestly I don't have a issue with the newer bridges not having many lights.   Maybe it's because I tend to sit at my desk on my PC with the lights off.

Okay... Without giving anything away, that was a VERY good episode all over BUT... That ending... that ending... it was... PERFECT! :)

Edit:  I spoke too soon.. There's an end credit cutscene! 😮

I really hope this means we've got our spinoff series set now.

Indeed a great episode and an excellent season and love the little humor sprinkled in here and there.  I hope they start writing future Star Trek series with these writers..

Spoiler

See I told you Q really don't die 😛

I was really hoping Wesely would have shown up for a family get together :(

Nice to 'hear' Chekov son being president and to bring back Walter Koeing to play him.

Spoiler

I don't think he's "alive".   When Jack says he's suppose to be dead, Q says not to think so "linearly".  Meaning Q can go anywhere in time he wants, back and forth.    In that sense he never really dies I guess, because he can time travel.

Spoiler

I took it as more of  a yes, Q did die at the end of S2  but he's meeting Jack at an ealier point in his own timeline / existance.  It kinda informs Q that he dies / asscends in the presense of Picard, and it doesn't steal from us as the audience the importance and emotional significance of that scene.

If that is supposed to be the Ent-D from ST: Generations they got the bridge slightly wrong...

The bridge module is interchangeable within the top of the saucer section. My guess is that the Generation bridge (which yes is very different) was irreplaceable and so they used an older part.

what a great ep.

but what has me wondering now that the borg are pretty much cooked, nothing left queen dead. but in disco they mentioned they havnt heard from the borg in hundreds of years. only borg left is the jurati borg from picard now in that timeline?

Inactive borg vessels are still out there, in fact theres an episode of ST Prodigy called "Let Sleeping Borg Lie" that highlights the perils of curiosity 🫥

First season of Picard there were also derelict Borg cubes.

Spoiler

But "this" queen came from the Delta quadrant I believe.

There's left over cubes for sure but as far as we know, no prime timeline/universe queen to give commands.   People need to remember that the Jirati queen is from that Q created alternate timeline that decided to pop over.  And even then it's just her, one funky looking ship and that's it.

As far as s3 goes though, they've basically just ignored s1 and s2.

It was irreplaceable so they...replaced it?

Prodigy takes place between Lower Decks and Picard in the timeline. Some 10-15 years earlier.

No.

Spoiler

They mention Jurati's Borg (indirectly as the "weird s*** on the Stargazer). How Q was supposed to be dead. Picard's synth body. Data dying "again".  The L.A. Ten Forward. Nepenthe and Riker/Troi's son having died. Fenris Rangers. Picard "waiting to die". Laris (albeit briefly). Raffi's history as an addict and her estranged son and not seeing her grandchild - we saw her son's pregnant wife on Freecloud.

It's spread throughout the show and those references are more satisfying having watched Seasons 1 & 2.

When the Borg are involved 15 years is nothing, its just a matter of time. I'm sure at some point over the next few hundred years the right cube will get activated seek out other cubes and rebuild what it can of the collective. I'm sure they'll resurrect a queen too despite her individuality and loneliness in the collective.

Maybe it has already been explained but who was that alien that Vadic had conversations with a few times?  Seems like he/she was her boss.

Spoiler

It was the Borg queen.

How do you know it was the Borg Queen?  Ignoring the fact that it would give away the plot (as if we didn't know the Borg were the real bad guys) why would the Borg Queen disguise herself when speaking to Vadic?

Spoiler

Listen to the conversation between Picard and the Borg Queen.  She talks about their collaboration.

Again if they showed the Borg Queen talking to Vadic early into the season we’d know the Borg are the big baddy instead of the Changelings.

    • All versions is correct. The bug appears on any version of Windows with KB5094126 installed. It's a little insane to expect the author to explain that systems that can't possibly have that patch installed, will not experience the bug. If you have any gripe about the title, it would be that it doesn't mention the update at all, but I wouldn't agree with that either. A title is not expected to be a full summery of the article.

    • I'd say the first one failed to be as popular as Apple anticipated, but the easy adjustment here is to make fewer of them next time around. It would only be a "flop" if it isn't possible for Apple to recover the design and factory tooling costs given the number of units sold, which I doubt would be the case. It isn't like no one bought them; it just failed to become the new hot phone of the year.
