Looking for collaboration software

Question

Why is there not a calendar that will display multiple concurrent events?   I have multiple client files or "events" that begin at the same time.  Whenever I attempt to enter this into google, outlook or any other calendar it is displayed side by side, which after 3 concurrent events, each become so small you can't read the event. I need a calendar that will display those events in a 1 line agenda view within the time cell that increases the height to accommodate the multiple concurrent events. I also need the ability to copy those individual objects and paste them on a new date.  Why is that not available? I have been forced to use a deprecated software called PhoneSlips, which no longer has web access to keep track of everything.  Ideally, I would like to see an app (pc and mobile) that incorporates this type of calendar view with, private and group chat, popup notifications, individual and group contacts, shared individual calendars, dialing and sms capabilities, screen sharing, file sharing, sending of phone messages to individuals, among other things.  Anyone have an idea?

I see what you mean, I just tried it in Microsoft Calendar included with Windows 10 and it puts it side by side for the same time slot, how many concurrent events are we talking because it seems like a unique case here. People aren't normally going to be saving multiple concurrent events in their calendars that they can't attend, are they?

Maybe a different kind of management tool needs to be thought of here like ToDo or a list manager that supports dates?

I suppose its a unique situation, but there should still be an option.  See the example where you have a group calendar for the office to keep all the appearances together,  then group all the counties/divisions together in a printable agenda to go along with files where one attorney makes appearances for others in the office and vice versa since 1 attorney can't be in 3 places.  Then be able to copy those calendar objects to a new date and check the old one off as completed.  We all use this ancient program because nothing else does this which is the quickest way of keeping track of all of it.  Some days there are 10x those entries and it just needs to accommodate that.  Attorneys all have this issue and you would think that someone would like to make a couple additions to their software and sell it to attorneys.  Attorneys have money to spend to make their workflow easier, but there's nothing out there.

    • This is exactly why I keep saying we are not ready for human free self-driving. These little "bugs" are may seem like random one-offs. There was also the Waymo that drove between police with drawn guns and the suspect they were pointing them at. From a software perspective it is easy to understand how those extremely rare situations may not have been programed for, but that is the point. If AI needs to be told to watch out for every possible contingency, then it can never be successful. There will always be the possibility of a first encounter that the AI needs to understand to avoid.
