John Veteran Share Posted April 17, 2004 XML is easier to code and contains up to 60% less...resulting in a far better and more manageable piece of software... HA! If you say so... :pinch:

kongit Share Posted April 17, 2004 Ummm I wonder just WHO the heck actually voted for WINDOWS ME! :pinch:h: umm I said I did before. You see it is part of my infernal scheme to convert windows users to linux. By making windows users think that ME is a good windows they will believe that the other windows are about the same standard. However once they use Windows Me they will be apalled and then not want to use any Windows software because they believe that ME is just as good as the other Windows...and that isn't good. So they turn to the free alternative (they already have a PC so they don't want OSX) called linux. Wait I shouldn't of told you this...
Banzai Share Posted April 17, 2004 XP, because it has the power of NT and a user-friendly interface. Also easily customisable, its easy to make a theme, and its easy to hack the shell32.dll and make you own personal look. It?s got everything for everyone,
PseudoRandomDragon Share Posted April 17, 2004 Oh kongit, you are so maniacally evil.

Jason Share Posted April 17, 2004 win2003 for both server and also workstationI got an increase speed with 2k3 compared to xp (Y) What did you use for your comparission test between 2003 server and XP and how long was the tests running for ? We need details don't just say faster show your results based on your tests and please don't show 3dmark that crap is not worthy of benchmarking a server. Was a clean install of both OS's performed with the same programs running on each ?

sciguy007 Share Posted April 17, 2004 xp/2000 have so many benefits over older windows versions. i use xp pro at home and (did) use 2000 at work, and i have never had one problem with either of them. rock stable, great compatibility with everything i used, and so many free programs and things to make them look better. i voted xp since thats what i use most.
