I'm curious to see how many people consider themselves primarily console gamers or primarily computer gamers. I know there are a few out there who play a lot of both, but I think most of us are decidedly one sided. So which are you?

Also, this isn't a thread for fanboys to argue over which is better, just state which one you use (Y)

Not hard at all. Console would win with N64 even if they were up against PC.

I say console, because even though I'm on the PC a lot, I'm usually doing something, not playing a game, and PC games usually take up a lot of time. The console games I have, I can just play casually, because as time moves on I've changed from a hardcore MMORPG gamer to a very casual music-gamer.

PC's all the way, I HATE Multiplayer on a Console especially with a multiple split screen!, PC's are WAY more versatile then a Console especially in the MOD community, the graphics are always going to be one step ahead of a Console(although you do have to pay for that upgradeability), the ONLY reason I have a Console though is for those certain games that are Console only(which are few) but honestly I love my PC too much to give it up for a Console, plus also FPS's are 100% better on a PC because of the Mouse/Keyboard combo, tried it before with a Game Controller and sorry but there is NO COMPARRISON!!!

PC, because you can just emulate the good old consoles... and you can just buy the other consoles you want. Not to mention the PC has great games itself.

I've got Xbox, PS2, PS1, GC, Dreamcast, Saturn, N64, GBAsp, GBC, and of course a PC -- so I guess I'm somewhere in the middle.

i do pc cause the controls are superior, the online play is superior, the graphics are way superior, and the overall feel and game play is superior imo. i used to be a console person but i opened my eyes and saw that they were imo a waste of money. You pay 500 dollars for an xbox which is an old pentium 3 with 256 pc133 and a geforce 3. why would i pay for that when for the same money i can get something alot better on a pc. you can hook a pc up to a tv if u wanted to play at such a low res and alot of pc sound systems are better on pc than on tv's. and i mean come on, the mouse and wsad are just the stuff. i hate those lil thumb sticks, lol

    • Not such a great deal, Ultimate, which gives you full 5080 features is $181.99 CAD per month, that's $2183.88 per year, I can buy the 5080 for $1809.99 CAD, then it goes up to $279.99 per month after the first billing cycle. Typical cloud rental, costs more than buying the hardware.
    • Wow, spoken like a true blind hater, you don't even provide arguments. Please, go check my comment above to @seacaptain and you'll find out why what you say doesn't make sense in this context...
    • Get used to this, with AI tooling now uncovering new vulns and getting them exploitable far faster than has ever been possible before software is going to need to be updated far more frequently. Back in the day it may take reseachers weeks or months to do what AI can now do in hours. Once its a threat is discovered it's weaponsized far more quickly, meaning you simply can't be waiting 2, 3, 4 weeks to deploy a patch, it needs to be patched immediately. Going to be interesting handling this in the enterprise space where traditionally patching has been steady, but very staged (and rightly so up until now), that is going to have to change.
    • You don't need to "close all browser sessions constantly" or wait for updates to install. The updates download in the background while you use the browser, without interrupting you, they install automatically the next time you launch the app. And they install very fast (depending on your storage speeds, of course), you have to wait at most 2-3 extra seconds, if any. Seems like you haven't used Edge in a loooooooong time...
