absolutely PC...my fingers not made for these console-controllers nowadays. It's sometimes like a workout for your fingers, managing to keep up with the picture on your TV....

Keep making PC games...not only cats love mice...my hand does 2!

For the past year I have been dedicated to my PC. But recently I started playing on my PS2 again. Well, with a PS1 game: Final Fantasy VII

But since I'm a big fan of GTA I have to get San Andreas (not until next week, cause german dealers have difficulties importing the UK Version). With this I'm pretty much getting into my PS2 again. I'm also planning on buying a Gamecube.

I've always been a multi platform person and I think I always will be.

Only owned a console once, that was a Sega Saturn that I sold after 2 weeks as I couldn't be bothered to spend (extortionate amounts of) money on games. I find consoles a complete rip off as most the games I find to be too simple or just about instant action (which makes me bored after about 10 mins, and for ?40/game) and I hate controllers on anything but sports sims. The argument some of my friends use (need a DVD player) is also rubbish IMO as after seeing DVDs on both PS2 and XBox I can safely say they are very poor compared to even a moderatly good DVD player. The only games I like on console are also available on PC (although I am looking forward to GTA:SA), normally with much better graphics and sound as well as my preferred control method.

Like many have said, I don't like the way that you use controls for fps in consoles, so I don't use them. Period.

Secondly, instead of buying one console, one pc, another console, etc....why not just buy one good PC that will do any job satisfactorily (including work, business apps, music, movies, games)?

I own both, always have, but untill recently (like the last couple of months) I have never had the money to spend on a PC to upgrade it to the current gaming requirements. Then I realised; the 2-300 I had spent on each new console (the day I bought it aone [with games]) I could have spent on a PC. So I did. My PC is now at high enough spec to play anything, although it has a way to go, (see here) such as watercooling, a new sound system and more RAM, the list is endless...

Now I would definatly count myself as a PC Gamer, with high hopes...

Hell yes it is, we are planning a LAN party this weekend! That should be the daddy; it will be small, but so much fun. All in one room, 48 hours of gaming and as much snack food/music/movies as we can squeeze in and all as loud as we can muster!

    • The level of stupidity at Google and Microsoft is beyond belief. All they are doing by killing this is forcing people to jump over to Firefox and ditch them all together, therefore giving Firefox the market boost it needs to finally crush them all in the end.

    • Some people don’t like them but plenty more enjoy what they have to offer. Check the value of the company.
