Your Mac Hardware Setup

Recommended Posts

I've not posted in here innna while... moved things about and stuff... so here's a few new pics. :D

It looks really good @ nite with the light on, the pic doesn't do it justice. :(

Extra stuff... Much better than cluttering the desk :D ...

Heh, just noticed you have the same desk as me.. or rather the one I used to have. It's now propping up a hi-fi and some boxes in the other room :p

Now that's nice. :)

I don't see how anyone could cope with those one-button mice. That's one thing Apple got wrong IMO.

Truth is (read this somewere...) that when they were making a mouse for the mac Jobs turned down the purposed 3 button mouse cus he said it would confuse users on which button to press etc. Guess they refuse to do anything about it i wouldnt have a problem with it since any other usb mouse works you could practicly go but anything... I really dont see a problem with using ms mice either since they do make software for the mac.

Oh yeah and ill be another pc user to say that i want a mac lol :D

i can understand that logic. hell my parents can't even comprehend the difference between a single and double click. they double click on everything.

in all honesty, i rarely ever need more than one mouse button in osx. i am fairly content with using the touchpad of all things for most of the time. however, i do plug in my three button mouse to play games because well, you need those buttons for games.

just about everything done on a right click menu in os x can be done with a keyboard shortcut so i rarely find myself ctrl-clicking to get a right button menu.

The Apple Bluetooth Mice? :o Serious? :o

I love my Pro Mouse, I dropped my Wireless IntelliMouse for it. I personally prefer it, and probably wouldn't consider qa two or more button mouse again, so if i were to want a new one, thats how I'd go. Serious 'mate'? :p :o

Serious indeed. All Bluetooth mice have lag, or so I've heard, and I've heard the Apple Bluetooth Mouse is at least a bit better than the rest, but it's still jerky. Even my keyboard gets lag from time to time, so you can imagine mouse instructions.

damn sweet ass setup. and all i know is i want that cinema display so bad...

I want that desk so bad. When I saw it I went :omg:. I don't have a mac (G5 to be specific) yet, and probably not until later this year, but I sure would love that cinema display, too. Makes my 17" lcd look puny . Anyways, why isn't this thread stickied yet? I love looking at this stuff.
