clonk
Step 1: Goto http://www.keira-knightley.org/ Step 2: Click the '02.multimedia' menu option on the navigation bar. Step 3: Watch Firefox happily serve you a popup! -------- In all seriousness, this is the first time I've seen this happen in this browser and I remember reading here on neowin about how firefox passed all the popup blocking tests a certain website, and it seems that Firefox actually won't catch everything. I wonder what makes that popup different.
david
Heh. The popup seemed to be delayed like 5-10 seconds too. I dunno.
imtoomuch
I get no popups. Edit: I went back to the site a 2nd time and this time I did get popups. WTF. It makes no sense, but I'm definitely going to block this site from now on. Edited July 22, 2004 by imtoomuch

dreamthief
http://www.keira-knightley.org/topad.txt - seems to be the culpit - it has a popup blocker detector don't always protect Firefox, saying its the site problem. This time, it is Firefox's pop out blocker. It was fixed for the nighly builds. See my previous post.
zhangm Supervisor Posted July 22, 2004 Supervisor Share Posted July 22, 2004 I get a popup, but it refuses to display at all... Kinda defeats the purpose of having popup advertising, doesn't it?
