I know this is meant to be the final but I discovered one more 4074 icon. It turns out that the icon that was apparently the Notepad icon was a txt file icon - I tracked down the real Notepad icon and added it to the set :)

Notepad is a text editing program. A text file is what notepad saves it as.

The good people at deviantART have removed the Longhorn Icons Set from the site due to copyright violation. Although a disclaimer was provided along with full credits to Microsoft, the pack has still been removed. A bit of a pity really, over 15,000 downloads; the LIS was my most popular peice of work...

The LIS was also rejected from ThemeXP for the same reasons, and due to the risk of Microsoft taking legal action I have chosen to no longer distribute the LIS and any possible future versions. Yeah, it's s**t - but don't worry, if you still want a real peice of 4074 on XP just PM one of the Neowin members who downloaded the LIS and ask if they could send you a copy :)

I've been getting alot of PM's from people trying to get the LIS from me - I'm only going to say this once; I have deleted the icons from my computer so Microsoft cannot press charges. If you want the icons, try PMing someone from this topic who has downloaded them or have a look at JustinT9669's cough's ;)

So please don't PM me asking for the icons as from now you will not get a responce. :) and thanks for those cough's Justin (Y)

I recently installed Build 4074 on my test system, and I was wodering which program I should use to rip icons from it. I've tried a few, and they suck.
