I just installed this and I think it's great, however I am having a bit of a pet peeve...

I see in the first few posts the screenshots of the alanis song playing, I see that in the info centre view: msn music service that it shows the album cover right under the playlist and then you see the album name and such with a star rating system on the right hand side (info view)...right above LISTENERS ALSO LIKED, I see a larger version of the album cover.

On mine it doesn't show up and I tried various albums including the alanis album and same thing.

Is there some settings that I have missed tweaking? How do I get this larger view of the cover, what must be set?

please help...

thanks in advance...

I just installed Windows Media Player 10 and it seems like Microsoft still need to make sure it works on everyone's comp... this is what it does on my comp....

i can tell you your not running the final then 2 reasons

1 that was a bug with the tech beta

2 that wmp file icon in the back is the old icon the new icon is glassy looking

check your build to make sure its 3646 ;)

i still think its a beta

I know its just being redirected. wait untill tomarrow and you will see the beta dissapear. as for some people they can get the icon and not the red x for some reason its supposed to be the butterfly ;) currently im affected by the red x too but im not sweating it im betting it will appear tomarrow. some have said if you clear your ie cache it will show up.

Oh and p.s. Its not a beta cream said so

what about the music now thing?

how come people don't want it?.. if its just the online music store software and nothing more, i don't care.

edit.. umm the one i downloaded (trickster's link) it says its a beta.. all ove teh thing and can't get musicnow.. only cinemanow and napster..

i don't care anymore, i'll get the real stuff tomorrow

Yes you are correct on the build version issue Tom... I just download this like a few hours ago and my version I am running is 3473... and yes it's from MS site...

krome ----> u get that x in the box do this! in the plugins under options turn off nero plugin and that will go away.
SkaterAustin, I took your suggestion and I saw Nero was not even checked but Sumarize was in there for some reason... so after I untick Sumarize, Voila! it worked... thanks
its faster then v9 i believe.

gregstar05, correction... it's slower than WMP9 (on my comp anyways)... WMP9 is way way way faster than WMP10 and faster than WinAMP 5.x

    • Microsoft confirms a new, useful Teams' app is coming very soon by Sayan Sen In the modern digital workspace meeting recordings and summaries are very commonplace, still finding the right recap later can be surprisingly difficult. To address that inconvenience Microsoft is working on a new dedicated meeting recap application designed to bring all meeting recaps into a single, centralized location. In a recent announcement on its Microsoft 365 roadmap website, the company has confirmed the new applet and has explained how the new experience will work and why it believes it can help users stay on top of discussions without having to search through multiple chats, calendars, or files. For those unfamiliar, meeting recaps provide a summary of key discussions, decisions, action items, and other relevant information generated after a meeting ends. They are intended to help participants revisit important points while also allowing those who missed the meeting to quickly catch up on what happened. Traditionally locating older recaps could require users to navigate through various conversations or meeting histories. The new meeting recap app aims to simplify that process by gathering all available recaps into one dedicated hub. According to Microsoft, this should make it easier to browse past meetings, review outcomes, and stay informed about ongoing projects and discussions. One notable feature of the applet is the addition of quick filters which are meant to allow users to instantly narrow down the list of available recaps and surface specific meetings without manually searching through extensive records. Audio recap is also there. If you're wondering how long these recaps will last before self-expiring, the app will provide access to meeting recaps from the past 30 days or approximately one month. You can view the feature entry here on the official Microsoft 365 (M365) website under roadmap ID 564614. Its rollout is set to begin this month (June 2026). Do keep in mind though that new feature rollouts often get delayed.
    • Does it have couch co-op is the question I have here.
