FireFox or Opera ?

Opera because all of the reasons stated already & because it's faster than IE/FF (even optimized builds).

Firefox, because even with all the tweaking in the world I can't get the user interface to look exactly the way I want, the way I have it with firefox. Plus opera lacks extensions I need such as "linkification" that turns plain text links into clickable ones, the view page in internet explorer mode, among other things.

Opera is faster though, I'll give it that, with a smaller memory footprint. I like them both.

Completely agreed. I've already fallen in love with the new "minimal" style they're adopting slowly.

I'm a huge fan of Opera, but can see that paying for a browser can be a negative for a lot of people.

I love the new side bar way of doing things, a lot better than the hotpanel IMHO.

And as a developer, and pda user, I also like the ability to make a webpage look like it would on a pda using Shirt+F11.

opera cant load SO many pages and i keep finding them 1 by 1, every day till i started using firefox

now i cant go back to opera cause i browse the web so much, and frankly with extensions firefox can do anything

I'll say Firefox because I'm used to it already, but I do not dislike Opera at all. I think Opera's faster than firefox (on both linux and windows) but I still think Gecko rendering is "better" (Anyway, Opera & Firefox will behave the same for W3C-standard-compliant pages, at least the ones I have tried).

Actually that isn't correct. Opera is free to user's who don't pay for it - just with small ads.

I prefer Opera over Firefox. Firefox hasn't matured enough for me yet.
