I have a 5 yrl dell and it sucks. My parents keep promising me a new pc...but keep delaying.

I need to do something via software or hardware that will kill the pc, without it looking like i intentionally did it...

any suggestions?

overclock it to crazy levels?

any way to kill hard drive?

why not fry your hdd??

stick it in the microwave (in a covered container) for about 5 min

or disable your anti-virus and firewalls, then go your mary way around the web - you wil surely get a virus.

another option is to screw up your registry or delete some files in the C:\windows\ dir

just get a little creative - think of all those thing ppl say not to do... and to them

do what I said

- hdd+microwave = sure death

- change the values in the registry (windows wont even load after that)

- delete files in the C:\windows dir and say it was a virus

- tunr off the fans on the case - then leave your PC on for a few days - heat will kill it.

Nah corrupting regisrty no good :/ could just format and fresh install the OS, How about flash the BIOS to a ****** one or interupt the PC while the BIOS is being flashed the HDD in microwave is a good idea also (Y)

ive decided to melt a part in the mobo with a torch, what do ya think?

edit: whats a good part to fry...that sometimes does "fry"

Get a little strip of silver foil (do this with the comp off obviously :p ) push it into either a pci slot then put the card back in, or take out your processor, put a bit under it, then replace it, boot up......voila, dead comp. (or do both :p )

change the bios settings , take a strong magnet to the hard drive.

shuffle your feet on the carpet when the cover is open and computer is on and touch the motherboard if your lucky static will get to the M/B.

Delete any important files from c:\windows and then destroyyour recovery discs and tell them: I got a virus that wiped out eveything and now I cant recover.

Or you could wet a cd and then put it in your PC for reading, you will be sure to spoil it soon...

oh oh good idea...if the neighbor has a cat...put it in the tower...let it run for a few days...the cat will surely poo in that time, short circuiting the mobo naturally...

OR

get a lot of tinsel...that stuff has GOT to be conductive!! throw it in and say you tried decorating it for christmas and you dont know what went wrong...

OR

Throw in a lot of steel wool in there, and say you thought it was tinsel, then finish off with the above idea!
