LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL

yeah , turn it on its side, pull down the pants, squat, and voila - something is bound to get screwed.

1 thing is for sure - that will guarantee the technician of not being able to fix it, he wont go near it, of course it might stink up the room for a while, but hey you have to make a few sacrifices now and again to get the rig you want. Heck I sold 2 kids to the black market to get this RAM, I mean yeah I miss them occasionally , but the little lights on the RAM heatsinks are so mesmerizing I kinda forget about them...

your absolute bestest option is corrupting the BIOS, ive done this a few times with success, once the mobo is gone in an old PC everything has to be changed due to lack of compatiable components in today's market and the expense of replacing them which aint worth it you might aswell buy a new model PC.

yep do a bios update and then Like oh the powers gone off... ;)

i aint trying that on my pc lol cus then it would be who would being buying a new mobo lol.

Heres a shurefire way

Open the case, and look at one of the "Molex" plugs, there should be a red wire, then 2 black wires then a yellow wire going into it. Connect the red and yellow wire while the computer is on with another little pice of wire, and just let it sit, afterwards remove the wire and it should be fried.

If that doesnt work,. take that wire you used with it connected to either collored wire, and start touching the MB with the power on at any silver connectors you can see with the other end. best to do it around important parts, ie the RAM and the cpu.

Something tells me he isnt going to do anything to the computer :p

Get a job. Its not your computer to ruin. No matter how crap it may run or be.

Saliva, come to think of it, I agree with you 100%, this is some little kid, trying to be devious and wanting others to think hes cool and doesnt take crap from his parents.

As for him, if youre parents think you deserve a new computer they wouldve bought you one already. If they cant afford it then you should be ashamed for thinking of a way to deplete them of money they do not have for such luxuries. Thats right, its a luxury. Do you know there are Ford Motor Co. offices in South Africa that are still using 386 computers ? Probably dont even know what that is.

OK Im done scolding him......

That didnt feel as good as I thought it would.

I didn't want to be the one to say it, but this way they'll flame you, the user with two posts. ;)

I could care less about a kid who is decieving his parents flaming me :p , i agree with cwalker2734, there are probably more deserving people than this dork who could put a computer to far better use. It's just wrong to be wasting your parents hard earned money, and I dont think that they are depriving you of anything, just because your computer can't play the latest and greatest games, it can obviously get around the net. In the end, hold your horses, good things come to those who wait

you could always do what my friend did by accedent

he was putting in a new heatsink and fan for his ATI radeon 9800 pro, but when he booted upt he computer creeked at him peeped lots and died, wouldnt boot with any display at all

turns out he had accedently connected a few bare ends of tracks on his graphics card with a thermal paste that was conductive,

course he enver worked this out and called me round to fix it for him, and i only noticed it by accedent

could try it on a motherboard, connecting the tracks on the BACK of the mobo will help prevent it from being seen, the best bit is that you can always re-use the hard drive and the likes in a new pc :)

or simply keeps the pc and tell your mum and dad that you are keeping it to remind you of what not to do, then after a few months wipe off the conductive thermal paste, boot it up and use it as a server or somthing :)

if any oen askes, you "worked out" how to fix it :)

This is funny, but funny isn't good :/

It's just better to tell your parents the truth, explain them why you need a new computer, that you need a new video card to run Encarta 2006

please stfu.

My parents have Plenty of money, and they always note how I dont ask for much at all. And yeah, theyve been promising for a long time now.

Ford doesnt need to use photopaint or the likewise.

but you cant understand my position mr "look at my sig, my computer is an amd 3200 so I dont need to worry about ****"

kill some capacitors, if turn off your pc when flashing BIOS be aware that it can be restored if the BIOS has bootblock, instead try to kill your BIOS, take it off and put it backwards see what happens, or microwave it a few seconds, that will sure kill it.

you can spray water to trhe motherboard, don't soak it just use one of those atomizers, it will dry fast and will leave no marks.

once again mr. old enought to get a job, well get one.:

It's what I had to do. Plus I am sure they would respect you a lot more than if they found out you broke your computer on purpose and lied about it.

But you'll do whatever the hell you want to, but its your conscience remember that.
